Where it is real F ing COLD
Yeah how fricking embarrassing, I was sitting at Ballys Sportsbook, had made a wager and got up to use the facilities by Nathan's. quickly realized that my wallet must of slipped out of my shorts. I just had collected a big wager on a Nats play. Saturday. I immediately went back to where I was sitting but it was gone, how the fuck does that happen? I went up to Sportsbook but no one turned it in. Security came and we looked in bathroom and floor of book to no avail.

Now that's a sick feeling to be in Vegas, no wallet that had $1000 cash, debit card, hotel key, credit card, photo ID. Fuck there are some places who won't serve me a beer and I'm almost 40. My buddy loaned me $500 so that was nice, but I couldn't even get new hotel keys cause I had no photo ID, I cancelled my cards and sure as shit last night I received a message from lost and found, no cash but everything else is there. I can't use my cards but at least I can fly out with out heightened security. I have a room key and now if I wanted to, my sister could money gram me money if I needed it. Yeah the $1000 loss sucks but it's Vegas. Got one parlay left in me before I fly out late tonight, but what a sick feeling to have but now I'm a little relieved. It is embarrassing, I told my buddies, "who is fucking dumb enough to lose their wallet in Vegas?" "This dumb mother fucker!"

Man this trip started off shitty, had a shaky middle but my buddies are like family and took care of me. At least im in shorts, paranoid that I'll lose my wallet again, and ate a ton of crab legs.

PS

To whoever took the cash, I hope that losing Bulls ticket you took gets shoved up your ass

If you know the exact location and time you lost your wallet, couldn't you have them review the security camera video? I'm sure just about every square inch of the place is under video surveillance?

Probably but then what? He got the wallet back and there's no way to prove how much money was in it.

Hate to hear this. Hope you hit a big parlay and you can take it easy for a while. Shit. This will be a trip you will never forget. Every trip to Vegas from now on will be better than this one. At least you have that.

I didn't say anything about proving how much money was in it? But he could at least ID the shitbag that took his money. I can't believe the place wouldn't try to help you out when they have every means of doing so. It wasn't their loss so they probably don't want to be bothered.

All in all it's my OWN fault. It's Vegas, I was glad to get my wallet back. To be known I would of done horribly in baseball yesterday. So guessing I would only have a couple hundred of it left. It sucks I can't use my cards but that's ok, it's all going to be replaced and I'll have money when I get home to a glorious 30 degrees. Oh well, I've had many good trips here someone bad one isn't going to crink my style it's just the embarrassment of it all.
Even if they did use camera, I'm sure whoever grabbed it got the hell out of there

My last trip to Reno I dropped my phone during a Video Poker session. Went to the bathroom, went to get a drink and at that point (about 15 minutes later) realized I didn't have my phone with me.

Panicked.
Went back to bar, then bathroom, then finally video poker machine clear across the casino. My phone was still sitting on the floor, in plain sight, in front of the machine.

I promptly called 2 or 3 friends to tell them how stupid and lucky I was, just to start resetting my karma.
The fact that you lost your wallet is just a sign that you don't need as much smiling from God as I do.

Well at least I got it back albeit empty without a valid card but I'm smiling, it's 80 degrees or so right now, that's good enough for me today.

No cash in it, but left mine at one of those Internet Cafe's in Vegas about 5- 6 years ago. I was walking home at about 3 am and decided to check my emails (sorry , wasn't into technology age yet)at one of those t shirt shops with computers. Pulled my wallet out to get my card I had purchased earlier for minutes. Ended up leaving it by computer. Soon as I woke up at about 9 am, I realized OMG, I didn't put in back in my pocket. I raced down to shop and they had it with everything intact. Thank God. Offered the guy $$$ for the return and he wouldn't take it. Said it's just the right thing to do. .... I seldom keep all my CASH in wallet anyways. At the time I seldom carried a wallet unless traveling. LOL

Good to hear you got it back BP....

FYI, while I am a few hours south of you, it is 70 degrees here today in the MKE area...

I guess next time I will put my starter $$$$$ in wallet and leave debit/credit cards in room so that way I have access to MY OWN CASH! Lesson learned. Next time I come to Vegas it's all cargo shorts so it can't fall out or who knows maybe I left it on the counter. Wish I knew. Got my 2 parlays in and like I said my buds have me covered.

sorry to hear about losing of the wallet

alot of pickpockets in Vegas , you cant just walk around with loose shorts and wallet. Boom !

I would never leave credit debit cards in room unless you use the room safe or leave it with the desk safe.

too many maids and others have access. Some ppl even save their keys hoping they will not be changed, wait a few days to go back in and rip you off

what are you from Minn or something ?

this is what YYZ wears in Vegas .......

On the course!
I read this on a Vegas site:

I was at Bally's yesterday with a couple of friends getting beat up at craps, when we decided to spend some time watching some games in the sports book.

We went to sit down, and there was a wallet in my chair! I was all like, "There's a wallet in my chair!" My buddies told me to STFU and quiet down. We went over to Nathan's and checked the wallet out. has a nice chunk of change in it, but not much for Vegas standards. All the same, I figured this guy would be going nuts when he figured he was missing his shit. My buddies wanted me to take the cash and toss the wallet, but I didn't feel right.

We went to security and told them what happened, and they said they would handle it from there. My buddies gave me some good shit for the rest of the night, but I know if I lost my wallet, I would want it ALL back!!

I would love to see the smile on this guy's face when he gets it all back. (I even thought about sticking an extra $20 in there!) LOL!

I'll update you guys more on the trip later. I still haven't seen Randy, so I'm off to look for him now. Later!
