I'm severely allergic too. There's nothing you can do but go to the MD or urgent clinic and get a shot of steroids and take home Medrol dose pak. The best topical treatment is Calamine Lotion, buts it's not that good. Go get the shit and get some relief.

Ask your Doc to write you a script for Clobetasol Cream.

Trader1 My dermatologist gave me a Rx for Clobetasol Propionate .05% cream specifically for my poison ivy. Over the counter EVERYTHING did not work and this cleared it up in 2-3 days. My answer to your question would be ABSOLUTELY!

I agree 100% with Trader1. I have a tube of this cream (the generic version) and I apply it as soon as I see poison ivy on me; I get it every year. The cream clears the poison up with 2-3 thin applications. It's the ONLY thing I've found that kills it so quickly, and most of us know how bad it is to get a case of poison! I've been given the pills and creams by my dermatologist in the past and they didn't work at all.

Went to Walgreens and got some stuff called Calagel ..They had a whole bunch of different products to choose from , i couldn`t beleive how many.

Anyway the itching has stopped now i just have gross blisters and puss .

I made it through the worst part but i should of went earlier and got meds instead of tuffing it out..

They let me go home early from work today with pay since i got it at work so that was cool.

Thanks for all the suggestions.
