just feel like the underdogs have a tremendous psychological advantage in this tourney.....we all know how these lesser teams get goosed playing the better clubs.....lots of large chalk....and many top teams bracing for the long haul.....should be plenty of backdooring going on(just look at the conference tourneys)...just knowing that you are the underdog(even small dogs) seems to be a big psychological edge...the idea is to win and move on........debating......

does anybody remember how first round dogs did last year,and/or the year before?......

Above the Clouds....
Didn't keep any records from last year but I took all the dogs on the second day of the first round last year. If I remember right alot of dogs covered on Thurs thats why I took all of them on Fri. I lost for the day, I used to do a lot of that kind of betting and don't think I ever came out ahead. Good Luck

Morris is correct.

I will have all the numbers on this in tomorrow's daily report -- record of dogs last four years and some interesting stuff on moneyline dogs and first-half plays. I'd post it here now, but I am doing a little fact-checking.

NOT A BAD PLAN UNLESS THE FAVORITE IS LOWER RANKED OR SEEDED OR PERCEIVED AS AN INFERIOR TEAM. THIS WOULD BE A GOOD SPOT FOR THE FAVE TRYING TO TRICK THESE ONCE A YR BETTORS

I bet every dog in the first round with the points. 12-2-2 yesterday. The meaningless one for BYU against UCONN got me a push, but the late one in Stanford turned a win into a loss. weber st., I had 7 also and they closed it nicely getting the push.

Still, absolutely rockin' day for not having followed college hoops at all this year.

Last year, the doggies were less profitable but traditionally, they've done well in the first round. Last year they had a good thursday, but poor friday. If you want to attribute a reason to that, maybe the Friday Faves saw the Thursday Dogs do their THANG on thursday and got ready for it.

I'd be interested to see the breakdown of Thursday/Friday dogs.

Also, I'd be interested to see an analysis with the 1/16 match-ups left out which usually seem to be quite the toss up point spread wise.

All dogs again today with Indiana PK against BAMA.

Good luck. Nice day yesterday.

I'm really pissed. I'm gonna be out of town on the 29th when Hopkins fights and you got the rematch of Tua-Rahman (the local boy).

Can't make a call right now in Tua-Rahman. Both fighters have tremendous weaknesses. Leaning towards the Tua man, but haven't even seen the odds so far.

I got to send some dough to Oly sometime. SIA is shit for fights and its the only place I have funded right now.

I'll be checking OTW.

GL Today. Go doggies.
