IF/WHEN I catch the jack-legged mutha f***ker who broke into my locker, actually cut the lock, at the health club and stole my 60GB IPOD.

Yeah, the same IPOD I had used all of my fellow MJERS help for different playlists and chit like that.

I will be going to the club at different hours, and don't think I won't be looking for my IPOD, and when I find it, CALL THE COPS!!!

What kind of times do we live in when, you chit isn't safe LOCKED UP with a:padlock:

I hope this fawker burns in HELL, or at least gets hit by a bus while he is out running with my IPOD.

Chasing the Next Dime...
Hindsight's a bitch

Hindsight's a bitch

But after a number of lockers got broken in at my gym I bought one of these for my ipod. I got the Mobile security lock and just loop it through the locker. They would have to break the locker frame itself open then somehow rip the ipod open to take off the lock itself. If they can do all that then they can have it.

targus-ipod-lock.jpg

Following in the footsteps of their already popular line of laptop locks, Targus has released 3 locking devices aimed at protecting your iPod from being stolen when you are not around.

Each lock features a unique dock connector with 3 digit combination that secures your ipod's bottom to the atached cable. You pick the cable that is best suited to your needs.

The Targus Desktop Security Lock ($30) has a 6.5 foot steel cable that can loop around any stationary object, holding your iPod at a usable but not stealable distance.

Next up is the Eyelet Security Lock ($20) which uses a tiny loop of galvanized steel, and is designed to be attached to a laptop computer lock or other cable similar in length and strength to the Desktop Security Lock. Its designed for people who leave more than one valuable item alone at a time.

Lastly, the Mobile Security Lock ($40) is designed for travellers, and will attach to any backpack, pocketbook, or desktop with a retractable, thinner cord - an easy way to secure your iPod when you are moving around in higher-risk areas.

Sorry about losng it, it sucks when you put all that time in to get all the songs on there and then all that work is gone!!

Did you have any identifying marks on your ipod or was it the standard? Might be kinda hard to find on someone, but I sure hope you do. It's too bad there are people like that out there.

Hope you find it.

Sounds like an inside job.

That's what I was thinking Sponge. Whoever gets their early or stays late would have plenty of time to cut locks, pilfer through lockers.

BUT

NO WAY to prove it, since cameras aren't allowed in dressing rooms, due to privacy laws

Would be more fun to have GSP than anti theft device attached to Ipod--would be more fun catching the criminals.

Wonder if you can buy those like in mobile phones to attach to other things like laptops-ipods ect?

I hate a ****ing thief worse than anything, except child molesting. You work hard to buy stuff you want, and these days people think absolutely nothing of stealing it. Its amazing these days people think nothing of stealing. I wish we could chop off their hands each time there caught.

I spent all night tearing my house apart looking for a gold necklace & gold cross. It was blessed by a priest that was a good friend, he now has passed away, as he was quite elderly. I've had the necklace and cross over 20 years since before my accident.

For those that don't know, I'm in a wheelchair paralyzed from the neck down, and therefore have several people that work for me called personal care assistants. Over the 20 + years I've made very few errors hiring people with good character and honest etc. only twice I've had to fire people for stealing, which these days 2 out of probably 100 isn't that bad.

Now this happens, I would rather someone steal $2000 then this piece of jewelry, because it meant something to me and can't be replaced.

So I know how you feel, sorry for rambling on. Good luck finding your ipod.

Lawt this happens a lot around here at health clubs. Don't even think of locking this stuff in your car because they hit your car at health clubs too. A bunch of vehicles in my neighborhood were hit about two weeks ago plus every ones that live with me. Im bad at this kinda stuff because i never lock my stuff up. I leave my wallet in my car from time to time as well as my phone. All they got was change which i didn't mind because it was buried in pumpkin seed shells i ate that day. I wonder if they have my DNA on there fingertips. They had to come in the back of my yard tho which is pretty ballsy. Man at any moment i could walk out of my house and saw this. It makes ya sick.

Dam Sham that is a tough situation. Stealing sucks enough but for someone to take advantage of you is as low as you can get. I have two friends in wheelchairs so i kinda know how tough it can be. 2 out of 100 is a nice little streak tho but it just makes a person furious. A buddy of mine has a few people looking after his mom. Boy i don't trust them one bit but you can't get that thru my buddies thick skull. His mother is old but still is okay but i bet they are stealing from her left and right. He just gave them both a Christmas bonus and neither one of them thanked him. I said why should they? What you give them was piss compared to your mom's jewelery. He just laughs. ughhh

Above the Clouds....
I stopped for a soda at Burger King the other day and while inside (5 mins) someone stole a generator out of the back of a truck I was parked next to. Some people have large ones, this was noontime.

hf, I live in willow trace, exactly on the Plainville/NA town line on 152. My parents live on Stanson Dr. exactly across from fire station on 152. that's where I grew up. went to Martin grade school, graduated from North.

I know the radiation blows, my father just started another round at Brigham/women Tuesday. I'm not a religious freek or anything, but I do pray, and have for you often, hopefully things are working out. I know from my father your road isn't easy. Get my email from Jack, we will get together.

Morris-I see you are from Saratoga, I went to college at Union, spent many memorable nights of party in Saratoga, beautiful place in the spring and summer. Loved the skidmore girls also:SIB :SIB
