I need help PLEASE

I have to go to San Diego next week on business...my work ends on Thursday afternoon...I have to be in Anchorage the following Monday. My flight leaves Sunday Evening. Is it a reasonable drive to Vegas from San Diego...If I have two days to waste?? Anybody know?

Wilson I did the drive only once, and I remember it was reasonable maybe 4-5 hours. That being said, it can be awful depending on traffic. I have friends there who have taken 8 hours to make the same trip.

THAT being said, as you probably know there are wildfires raging throughout that area right now and many roads may be closed or shut down due to the fires.

There are casinos in the San Diego area and a number of great poker rooms both there and in LA if that is what you are looking for.

Ace is right, there are 2 large hotel/ casinos I believe in San Diego, Pachenga and Poway( which was in the heart of the wildfires) so I don't know accessibility. Vegas is a 45 min flight, numerrous flights i believe as well. Check out the hotel del on coronado, great old place spent the holidays there las t year, you can se the new staduim as ell on the way over, 10 min. apart....

Great point, I'm sure for cheap you could get a Southwest flight out Friday night and back Sunday afternoon, they run pretty much on the hour.
