A few years ago my friend Jill whom I've known since Jr High came down with Oral Cancer. She fought and fought but in the end her body gave out and she passed away in early August. She left behind her husband Stephen and 3 young kids.
And now, two weeks ago her husband Stephen had a massive heart attack and died. I guess the stress of watching his wife and kids suffer for so long was more than his heart could take.
The kids have lost both parents in a span of 10 weeks. They are 12, 10 and 7
So im asking as a personal favor from all of you to help these kids out. I dont care if its 2 bucks or 5 bucks just please try and help.. No amount is too small.

Bella (12), Lily (10) and Lennox (7) Thomas are three beautiful young children who are in desperate need of your help. After losing Jill, their young mother, to cancer in August, they were trying to rebuild their lives with their father Stephen. Tragedy did not stop for these children as they lost their father to a heart attack last week ...only 10 weeks later. After spending all of their lives as a loving and caring family, these precious children have become orphans in a matter of weeks. Jill?s medical bills from her 2-year battle with cancer have decimated the family finances and, after Stephen?s death, the children are left with very little financial support. Their extended family is doing their best to provide them with a loving home for the three siblings, but they need your financial contribution to make this transition less traumatic and more peaceful.
Steven and Jill were a beautiful couple, devoted to their kids, their activities, and their well being. Their lives were turned upside down when Jill, at the age of 35, was diagnosed with head and neck cancer. A seventeen hour surgery removed most of her tongue and left her with an incision from ear to ear. Through admirable determination, she re-learned to eat, talk, and swallow and resume as much of a normal life as she could. For a time, she was cancer free. Stephen and Jill?s focus was back on family life, soccer tournaments, and rebuilding their lives with their children.
Their efforts came to screeching halt when a routine check 6 months later found a spot on Jill?s lungs. Jill was a fighter, fiercely competitive in everything she did. She kept on fighting for Stephen and her kids, but the cancer was too much for her and took her away from us on July 30, 2014. She was only 37.
Stephen had quit his work to provide full time care for Jill in the last months of her fight with cancer. After her death, his first priority was to provide as much of a safe, loving home for his kids as the circumstances allowed. He became their focus, their rock. He took them to school, he cheered at their soccer tournaments, he took them to birthday parties...trying to proviode a normal life. On October 8, only 10 weeks after the death of his beloved Jill, the unthinkable happened. Stephen suffered a massive heart attack. And just like that, in an unthinkable twist of fate, three innocent, already traumatized children had lost both of their parents. Stephen passed away at age 42.
The tragic loss of their parents has left Bella, Lily, and Lennox in an unimaginable situation. We cannot bring their parents back for them, but we can all come together and help take some of the financial stress away from the family. As you might imagine, the medical expenses of the two tragedies have left the family under intense financial strain. We ask you to give these children a chance. With the permission of the family, we are setting up this fund for the exclusive benefit of the Thomas children. No amount of money is too big or too small. We are reaching out and hoping that members of the community, friends and family will find it in their heart to help raise enough money to give Bella, Lily, and Lennox Thomas a brighter future.
