Ok this is my problem...........let's say i burn a CD and give it to someone to upload......it uploads OK but the name of the artist doesn't appear on ITunes so it just shows as a number.......for example if there are 10 songs on the CD it will appear as number 1 thru 10 on the list without the singers name???? How can i fix that?

you need to have an actual i tunes accont. Once you have an account the artist name and songs should come up. if not there is a tab at the top of the itunes page that says advanced, click on it and it has several options on it, get cover art work, artist name, track names. I had the same problem, but once I opened an actual Itunes account it was smooth sailing.

Hope this helps.

First in your hearts.
That is only a problem if you burn an Audio CD and not a Data CD. If you burn an Audio CD iTunes converts your file from mp3 or aac or whatever format back to wav. You lose some quality when you do that.

You can retain all of the quality by burning a DATA CD, which just copies your files in the format you have them in iTunes. When you burn it as data it also includes the information about song title, artist, genre, etc.

Go to Preferences/Advanced/Burning to switch to Data CD for the burn. Plus you can put a whole lot more songs on a CD using data. You can put 150 mp3s on a CD, but only about 15 wavs.
