what the hell is the line saying?

DET facing elimination with Verlander, a career 6-2 w/ a 2.31era against Wilson who's 0-1 and 5.56 era.

Line opens at -155 and drops .10 w/ approx 63% on DET.

TEX obviously has the momentum and DET has their 2 best RP run into the ground. I'd say it shouldn't matter too much if Verlander is on, but
looking at career postseason numbers, Verlander has one more win than Wilson, but also about a point higher era.

Cmon Man....TEX 1 unit 100/136
Lean o7

Hey Livin, best to you today. You have been very good at supplying input on your plays. Thumbs up Livin:0074 .

I'll add my worthless thought - Wilson is a free agent after the post-season. A pretty nice spot going forward for wanting to cash in big with a bidding war with the Red Sox, Yankees and the Rangers?

I'm thinking real hard on Texas today, but will the umpires have a wee bit of influence on extending a series, as Fox Sports will be taking a blood bath on the World Series ratings. I happen to love any of the matchups, btw.

KC--
thank you, you obviously have been around kicking ass, taking names for a while and I appreciate it. Have def tailed afew of your plays from time to time. Great point with Wils
on too. He learned a lot from Lee last year and I think it has helped with his in game adjustments.I ran across some info on the home ump today as well.
Granted Rangers are 5-17 last 22 in Comerica, but w/ hp ump Nelson DET is 5-13 last 18. TEX is 16-5 last 21 w/ Nelson behind as well. You can always find trends for any angle, but I feel like TEX will close it out today. Also, Nelson's games have strong propensity to go over w/ an avg 9.21 rpg.

Thanks again and gl:toast:

Stl u8.5

Stl u8.5

Yes, this play makes no sense and yet makes perfect sense.

Wolf has absolutely sucked last 3 outings. Lohse has been good 1-1 2.75era. Looking more into this though, both have put up respectable numbers against each opponent. Career wise:
Wolf 8-8 3.91era
Lohse 4-8 4.80era

Three things make me like the under:
1) Huge consensus on the over which hasn't moved total up.
2) Both are well rested.
3) Very strong under trends for hp umpire Mike Everitt.
