Kansas City area for who knows how long....
I remember most when visiting the USS Arizona memorial was the oil slick over it. Still leaking oil after all these years.

Old Marine told me he helped rescue some guys on USS Oklahoma, and watched others die as they tried rescue. Rescuers drilled holes in hull to let guys out, but that let air escape too. Air remaining trapped guys needed. They jackhammered open little holes to see if any live survivors, then saw a few, but couldn't get hole big enough--fast enough--before guys drowned right before thier eyes as they desperately stuck hands out thru the little holes.

Then fighting on islands, the Marines experienced worst stuff can't even write about here. There's reasons they took very few prisoners.

Wierd feeling to stand at the memorial in silence with such peaceful surrounds only to look down and see oil still leaking 60+ years later and knowing the number of bodies entombed below, thats for sure.

God Bless our Veterans.

Too bad we don't fight wars like they did, we would never lose.

how f-cking disgusting is that...i`ve stayed away from political because i know it gave jack serious problems....

but this shit is just beyond the pale...

they`re going on this murderer`s word?..the fact that another seal said that he didn`t see the fat lip when he was captured?........why couldn`t the jihadi have done it to himself?...knowing full well the ridiculous politically correct crap that is foisted on our military...

and now,as in so many investigations, they have little concrete evidence so they try and ruin careers on the basis of claiming the seals weren`t truthful in their testimony...

shame on this administration and our p.c. military for not halting this garbage.....

a punch in the stomach?....a fat lip maybe?....hows about taking the backs of the boys that lay it on the line for us for a change?.....

and people wonder why the president got such a cool reception at west point...
