wife and I will see it.

just a shame they didn't get the director and actors willing to commit to the roles to make this film what it should have been.

The writer told the director from the early days of shooting that the approach to the film was wrong.

The film should have never been made from an artistic standpoint if it was going to be made like Harry Meet Sally with some whips and chains hanging around..

But...the money backers got exactly what they wanted..

multi millions for their millions and a cry for more from those who pay for a film and are satisfied w/ a B Movie.

It was pretty good. I read the books when they first came out so it's been a while to remember some of the things that took place. The first time he undressed her she had quite the hairy leg thing going on. Not sure what that was about. The woman behind me was quite upset the way it ended. As soon as the screen when black and the credits started rolling she let out a big "Those son of a bitches!!" Everyone in the theatre laughed.

She did say that they did not use body doubles except the part where he smacked her 6 times with the belt. She said she didn't want her butt whipped.
