I am here is London on vacation, I was bored so I took a walk. I stopped at a convienent store and picked up a water and a Maxim. When I got back to hotel I started to check out the Maxim and it had a scratch off, win some money type deal in it.
This card has 3 scratch off blocks, the first one says: Scratch and Match 3 Symbols to Continue. Well I scratch and there is 3 symbols of money, that read "cash" underneath them. So I start to get excited. Below this it says, "Congratulations you can claim one of the items below."
So, I scratch of the next box, and it says, "50,000 pounds cash, 18,000 pounds cash, conservatory (whatever that means?), european city holiday, 3000 pounds cash, laptop, i pod" Now I woulld assume I win one of the cash prizes sinze the box above had 3 cash symbols.
The third box has a phone number to call to reveal my award and arrange delivery. Of course, there is a catch. I read the back of the card and it says UK and ROI residents only. Aaaahhh, the luck I have.
So... does anybody know of anything I could do short of splitting the prizes with someone who does live here and hope they send me the other half of the winnings? Can I redeem it through the American Maxim office? Any advice would be appreciated.
I might as well just get a cheap apartment here, redeem my winnings and never come home.
