I'd rather see Louisville play Auburn than VT.

I'd love to unload on LaFors kids -3. I have a feeling they'd absolutely CRUSH Auburn by at least 2 touchdowns and maybe even more. I saw the way the Auburn D played tonight and I was not impressed at all. They got shredded by a team with a 3rd string QB!!
You can say all you want about conferences and all that bullshit but in my opinion Louisville is the better team and I think they could no doubt beat this over-rated Auburn squad. LaFors would light them up like a Christmas tree.

Chuck if you think being shredded by a QB who went 8-20 for 69 yrds is true then you need to examine yourself internally. Oh yeah TN 1st string QB only threw 4 picks the other time we smashed them...

I would rather see AU play Cal, Texas, Boise, or Utah rather than a Va tech squad

tenn had a 14 and 19 yard scoring drive. the 80 yard td run was a blown assignment, but even so tenn only had two drives of over 50 yards. maybe you should watch the games a little closer.

louisville is a really good team.....they might beat southern cal and OU, but there is no way they could play with Auburn.

I think Louisville would give Auburn a tougher game than VT because of the coaching facor.

But Auburn's seniors gave up millions by not entering the draft last yr to finish the job they started.

i can assure everyone that louisville would f'k with any team they play. aub, usc, oky, etc. any team . why would the cards hurt aub, but not usc ? ridiculous. louisville is a great off team. they are soft on def. regardless, a 16 team playoff would fix everything.

Its a slap in Aubruns face to have to play a mediocore team with 2 loses. I wish Auburn would stand up to the BCS and boycott the Sugar Bowl. All Auburn Alumnist and fans should flood the atheletic dept with calls. If we was playing a team with 1 lost I could see playing but not a 2 game loser.

In theory a decent idea but Auburn couldnt do it alone. They would have to find another team with equal credentials ie. Oklahoma to boycott the Orange Bowl and play there own game wherever they wanted to and keep all the money to themselves.

The cards would definitely give auburn something to think about with their offense, but I'm not sure they could play enough solid 'D' to sustain 4 quarters of Campbell and co.

I am gonna keep my comments to myself on that childish remark you made ajoytoy. Dont want kicked out of the forum for slamming. You know as well as I do Auburn when they beat VT they will not even get a peice of the pie. Ray Charles could see that. I dont thank you can. Auburn should not be playing a team with 2 loses. They should be playing a team with one. There is 2 thats the odd men looking in. what makes VT and there 2loses vault ahead of Cal and Texas?

interesting

interesting

College football is as rigged as Professional Wrestling. Check out these facts about Auburn Football and the SEC this year, and why this year's Auburn team could be the greatest college football team and the SEC is the greatest conference of all time. Auburn and the SEC is being violated right now. I wish the head coaches if LSU, Auburn, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, and South Carolina luck in recruiting against the big 12 or pac 10. It must be nice for SEC coaches to have to say, 'come to my school where we can go undefeated, win the conference championship, and win our bowl game and still finish no higher than 3rd in the BCS.'

The SEC has 5 teams in the top 20 (AP/Coaches) more than the Big-12 and Pac-10 combined.

The SEC has 4 teams in the final BCS top 15, the same as the Pac-10 and Big-12 combined.

There are more mid-majors in the top 20 than in the Big-12.

There are more mid-majors in the top 20 than in the Pac-10.

Auburn has won more games against 9 win teams than OU and USC combined.

Auburn has won more games against 9 win teams than the entire Pac-10 conference.

Auburn has won more games against 9 win teams than the entire Big-12 conference.

Auburn has won as many games against 9 win teams as the Pac-10 and Big-12 conferences combined.

The Sugar Bowl pits the SEC Champ against the ACC Champ. There are 5 teams in the top 20 in the SEC, 4 in the top 20 in the ACC. That's 9 schools in the top 20 represented by their conference champions in the Sugar Bowl.

There are more top 20 teams in the ACC and SEC than the Pac-10, Big-12, Big-10, and Big East combined.

There are more top 20 teams in the ACC and SEC than the Pac-10, Big-12, and every mid-major conference combined.

And, one interesting factoid...

Should Auburn, UT, UGA, and LSU win out, Auburn will have defeated 5 teams with 10 wins. That would be the toughest schedule in the history of college football.

So Cal
Manson I agree completely

I expressed my opinion in a thread a few weeks ago saying that AU going undefeated isn't all that impressive.

1 guy said it was the most outrageous thing he ever heard .LOL

I would love to see AU play a team that has a explosive Off.
I believe then it would exploit them for being frauds.
IMO they would lose to any of these teams
USC , OU , Louisville , Utah , Cal , and maybe Boise St

Jeez would everyone please step off the bandwagon already

Also
I'll be playing Va Tech +pts & ML

OH
tulah not being negative but any team that is undefeated is impressive to me. Just simply fact is it is hard to win week in and out and not over look teams or have a bad bounce or call in a game that changes the outcome. In regards to Auburn beating Louisville it would be a good game and who knows what the outcome would be. HOWEVER I would not look past VT. I have been on the other side of Tech for the past 4 games and all they do is continue to impress. They have a very UNDERRATED defense and a good offense with big play potential. With regards to the Auburn/VT game I will be on tech for the some simple reasons.

1. VT's defense is good and auburn struggles against Bama, if bama had an offense they might have won that game. VT does have an offense.

2. Auburn will more than likely come out a little flat and disappointed. They might be more involved with the USC/OU game.

3. VT might be a 2 loss team but that is to a good USC team and a missed FG vs. NC State.

The 2 teams mentioned in this thread are Louisville and Auburn. IMO these teams have VERY tough challenges ahead. They are playing teams that are very dangerous and match-up perfectly against the other. Should make for an entertain set of games.

Just my opinion
