this is one of hte worst coaching jobs i have ever seen by Sampson.....

why is he playing zone against these guys????

great game by IU.....they played better basketball and played amazing fundamental defense....nice to see a team block people out on the defensive end....that is what won this one for them.....superior coaching by Mike Davis......Sampson's team laid an egg today.....

can't believe this bunch is playing for the national championship.....

you can believe now they might shock everyone and win it all. whatta a year for us hoosiers! i played okie small the other day was worried about coverdale and okie presure. sampson boned this game he should have pressured the whole game but not.

i don't know what Sampson was thinking.....point guard hurt, best 3 point shooting team in the nation.....1 guy on team can create a shot for himself.....and you play a soft zone?????

that was the poorest decision i have seen in a long time in the coaching ranks.....he will have to have some answers for the Sooner Nation....his team was tight as nails too and played with absolutely zero passion....

guess the National Championship game is next?????

obviously the idiot didn't look at the kent st game film or he would have seen the success kent had pressuring i.u. late in the game especially when coverdale was out. i gave sampson way too much credit never again. he was outcoached, he team was out hussled, pushed around and they stunk. cracks me up i.u. in the final what a shocker.

hopefully i get a better performance out of my Jayhawks......Roy has been here before though so I don't expect them to play like that......good grief, Baylor would have beat the Sooners today....

This was not the Oklahoma team I'd seen earlier in the tourney. Yes, tentative play it seemed. But Indiana's points in the paint and 3 pt shooting came through, ending up with over 50% overall & on 3-pointers.

Title of this thread says it all....Roy IS coaching the next game. Yowsahs!!!

What a coaching mismatch in that one! Give all props to Davis and Hoosiers for sticking with kind of ball that got them there. Have to agree with Freeze, et al. What was Sampson thinking? Playing a weak zone against the hottest 3 point shooting team in the tournament - what a surprise that they go 7-7 in 2nd half! Oklahoma, so famous for their pressure defense, looked ill-prepared. Maybe coach's fault - maybe Indiana's fault - maybe a little of each. But, Sooners showed little here and never looked much at eas here.
