My I-Tunes will not open..something to do with the Quick Time Player. It says Quick time Player failed to initialize.

It says to uninstall and then re-install I-Tunes.

How do I do that without losing all my songs?

Thanks.

Your songs should be in folders that iTunes draws from. I think you are okay to uninstall and reinstall. Are you sure you can't just reinstall QuickTime and Safari?

It should have nothing to do with Safari....or I-tunes for that matter.

It should just be a Q-Time issue.....but I am no expert:shrug:

grab an external hard drive and move your songs folder over to save them.. then wipe everything out that was iTunes and try again.

It was a compatability issue. Had to go into the properties of both and switch some stuff around.

Not sure how they got uncompatible.

Thanks for all the suggestions.
