but i have to bit on this juicy homedog...

i dont expect pedro to go more than 5 innings tonight....and i think gonzalez can hold them in the game until the pen comes into play...

and im not sure if the sox will use thier "better" arms out of the pen....or will throw out the likes of brandon lyon

im hoping to see a sox line-up with players such as ...
JACKSON
ABAD
McCARTY
MERLONI
ADRIAN BROWN
HASELMAN..OR MIRRABELLI

i wouldnt be shocked to see ramirez or meuller since the batting totle is at stake....but mueller has been battling some back problems so a day off may be in order...and merloni can play third

all in all...just think this may be a good shot at a big dog..even if pedro pitches lights out for his innings...if gonzalez can keep them in the game..and he should be able to if this line-up is full of bench players...then tampa has a good shot against the boston pen

to good of a price to not give this game a shot with all the factors

1.) tampa plus $200

I'm putting it in a small par. We might get a good draw on the ump too. Good luck

Pedro one of the more selfish players on the Sox and in the League will want to make a statement for his Cy Young candidacy. He got shafted last year and although I believe Halladay has it all wrapped up (even though I am a HUGE PEDRO and SOX fan), Petey will want to show his best even if it is for 5 innings. Sox will want to keep the momentum going into the playoffs and even with scrubs should put some runs up tonight and I don't anticipate Pedro giving up any...

good luck whatever you choose to do. This one is better left alone imo...

Good luck tonite, buddy.

DOC....I WOULD AGREE THAT PEDRO MAY VERY WELL PITCH A SHUT OUT THROUGH 5...HE HAS HAD INCREDIBLE SUCCESS VS TAMPA...BUT THIER PEN IS STILL THIER BIGGEST PROBLEM..AND ANY TIME I CAN GET THE OPPONENTS BEST PITCHER (ARGUABLY) AGAINST THE BOSTON PEN FOR 4 INNINGS ..ILL TAKE A DOUBLE MY MONEY BET ANYTIME...

AT THESE ODDS ILL TAKE A SHOT....IF THER NUMBER WASNT PLUS $200 OR SO I WOULDNT PLAY IT...

JUST GIVING IT A SHOT....

GOOD LUCK TONIGHT

IF Pedro only goes 5, then I would look towards the over, because that's four nice innings for runs with the boston bullpen.

didn't you all see the bubbly and beers flowing in the clubhouse last night? my guess is the Sox charter didn't leave Boston til about 2:00 AM

agree w/ Cooz- situational play on D'Rays especially considering Sox may go to 3 man rotation in playoffs- Petey may not even go 5
