Decided to QUIT:box2:

will funnel the expense into my bankroll, a much better use of the $$$

Talk on the radio Friday of yet higher taxes, mentioned 75 cents a pack, making them right at $6 a pack here in Ohio :scared

The money is going up in smoke anyway :sadwave:

And I have had good success at March Madness in the past plus solid results in MLB with totals.

Makes sense to me, wish me luck on the resolve of quitting and the results with wagers :D

190 days (6+ months) smoke free here and the best thing I ever did for myself. If I can do it anybody can. I'm still amazed that I am a non-smoker and proud of it. :00hour

No more coughing every day, every time I wake up, over $10 a day savings for me that is much more noticable than I thought it would be, and no more burn holes and walking around smelling like an ass tray :00hour

You can if you think you can :toast:

Geno it's tough but very do-able. Just by reading your posts here I think you are the type to manage it first time. It's all a mindset basically, don't let em beat you.

I taped a brand new pack to my dash, stared at the fuckers every day as driving was always hardest for me.

Under a mask.
2+ years for me.Only part I did not see a change in is my bankroll.Still feel like I am financially in the same boat.Let me state that obviously I am saving money by quitting smoking.Just does not seem like it.

Had to clear the air on that before the degenerate
vultures pounced on this.

E, you have to want it. Its that simple. Doesnt sound like you do, at least right now.

GENO, one day I woke up and decided to not smoke anymore. That was it. Smoked for a dozen years. People would ask me all the time.. "Why dont you quit?"

Id always say the same thing. Because I dont want to. 'I like smoking!"

Then one day, done. Just tired of waking up smelling like smoke, worse hangovers, coughing up phlegm, etc.

Congrats GENO. I just quit in the new year myself. Haven't had a puff since a few hours before I rang in the new year :00x9 and haven't had any cravings either. :mj09:
I wish you the best of luck and good health from here on out. :mj23:
