I stated a few weeks ago that there was no way Bush's approval rating could drop any further, but I stand corrected with todays NBC News release which now shows that he is hovering in the mid 30% range on his approval as well as other indicators. Another poll states that only 1 in 5 Americans feel the country is headed in the right direction which is the lowest of any President in history! This guy needs to clean house and bring in some people with fresh ideas as we cannot afford to stumble through the next three years until we can get someone new in the oval office.

According to the poll, Bush?s approval rating stands at an all-time low of 38 percent, a one-point decline since October; in fact, this is the third consecutive NBC/Journal survey showing Bush at an all-time low on his job approval. And it doesn?t stop there: Approval for his handling of the economy (34 percent), foreign policy (35 percent), terrorism (39 percent), and Iraq (32 percent) have all hit rock bottom.

So what. You bashed him when his approval rating was through the roof too. If he changed everything you would find something else to gripe about.

So many on this board are more concerned about partisanship than the real issues facing this country. Are we all better off with folks cheerleading for our President to fail? Do you want him to do well and thus get another Republican elected to succeed him? I bet not.

Maybe, just maybe, it's the 62% of the country that are not buying into what Bush is selling that ARE concerned about the real issues facing this country. When people are not happy with the way things are being done, they complain.

Hey, HE gave us the ultimatum. With him or against him. More than half the people who voted in the election were not with him then, and apparently there are a lot of people over the past few years that are realizing that they are not either.

No mysteries here. No complaining. Just facing reality. Which is something conservatives are having a really hard time with these days. Reality, and truth.

Your as partisan as the rest here and to try and play it off that your not is funny! No I want the country to prosper and this includes the whole country! I would bash the guy less if he made an effort to unite the country like he campaigned to do instead of taking every step he can to divide the country. I would support him if he decided to start speaking the truth and stop utilizing the old boys network. This is a guy whom pledged to bridge a gap and heal wounds and he has instead made ultimatums that pit folks against each other and anyone whom refuses to back his failed ideas is cast off as unpatriotic. The bottom line is that it is not healthy for our country to be so divided but it's not a one way street where we all most be like Dogs That Bark and support every thing Bush puts out and at the same time not expect the administration to also put forth an olive branch to all of the people not just conservative right wing groups.

Master Capper: I enjoyed reading your post on this subject.I get so upset about these matters that I want get started. I'm sure that I'm not the one with the answer to the problems that face the country. My opinion of George Bush is not very good. He is so arogant. I'm so sick of him and V. P. Cheney.War is their solution. There's a HOT place in you know where for people that lie about such matters .

Sun Tzu,

Unfortunately, I did not see those posts and was basing my opinion on posts that I have read of yours in the past to form my opinion. I wish I had the time to search every post here but I did miss your post on Vioxx and Oil and in my opinion both of those post were very fair and accurate.

Does the Republican party send out a manual to all of its followers that says whenever somebody criticizes President Bush, say something bad about Bill Clinton? I know that dodging the issue is standard operating procedure for you folks, but wouldn't an explanation of why Bush's actions are correct be more appropriate? If you can't defend his actions, does it really help to bash someone else? Or is that just a way to avoid the truth?

Oh and by the by just to make your statement look even more ridiculous I bash Bush for being so Liberal on domestic issues all the time :cursin:
He sucks ! I want a real Conservative . You will also notice I never mentioned Bush only mention how dumb someone would need to be to believe their statement was possible for any Admin over the past 230 years and for the next 200 Dem or Repub that is if you Liberals don't get us all killed .

When someone says something like that its apparent they have no clue what so ever about politics and should really leave the political boards their just making an ass of themselves . :scared

Smurph You could have stretched your $40 a little further if you'd dumped it on GW when exit polls errantly picked Kerry ;)
