Totally different situation. Even if it was the exact same situation, would you now change your opinion? You're now for the release of sensitive pics?
my opinion is that i`m ambivalent about the release of the bin laden photos...i understand the argument being made by the administration...
even though i don`t like playing the politically correct game(full islamic ritual,etc) particularly after the administration said that bin laden wasn`t a "true" muslim and perverted the religion,i still don`t see any rationale for the media pouncing on the abu gheaib photos(which were relatively benign...they were more embarrassing than brutal) like a rabid dog,yet capitulating to this administration`s wishes with very little pushback...
i see it as political...much like the media literally suing to get the american flag draped coffin pictures made public...to use as a tool to foment anti-war sentiment...
funny,you don`t see any of those flag draped coffin pictures on the news with the turnover of administrations.....now that obama has ramped up the war in afghanistan...
theres nothing noble about this...it`s all politics as usual...
