this guy`s portrayal as the coniving,scheming saloon owner on Deadwood is one of the greatest t.v. characters i`ve seen in a long,long time......

his sarcastic wit is laugh out loud funny...and he`s deadlier than jayson williams....

if you haven`t seen Deadwood,check it out....right after the sopranos.....

mcshane is worth the look...

i just saw him in the old movie "the battle of the bulge" on t.v.....no,not the "al roker story".....the historical "battle of the bulge".....

great job by Ian and the writers, great dialogue etc. for him to work with, calamity jane cracks me up as well, she delivers some classics..."not drinking in a fukn bar where I have the only fukn set of balls in the fukn joint' or close to that, last night leaning against the building and her line to Charlie when he said to tell the livery the horse was on him and she said to him he could tell the livery owner "that he saved his fukn life, whether the fukn livery owner knows it or not" just saw Ian on a dvd w/Ben Kingsley, great job as a mob boss in that flick...

Watched Deadwood again tonight and liked it better the 2nd time! Hope Montana and the widow hook up. Feel bad for the preacher.
Cy's an ahole, his ho is hot. AL is doing a great job, he makes me crack up.
Deadwood is surpassing The Sopranos, I hate to admit it.
