I think Dorrell will be ok at UCLA. They are having a great recruiting class (just signed the #1 high school QB from 2 years ago)

Remember, USC went to the Las Vegas bowl and lost by 3-4pts i think in Pete Carrolls 1st year at USC. This is only Dorells 2nd year and UCLA was a mess when he took over.

Oh yeah, you know UCLA is missing starters for this game!

BTW, UCLA's bowl game was against USC, not Wyoming. UCLA had 3 weeks to prepare in each game.

this is not a well coached team...they weren`t prepared......they came out totally disorganized....

and,last time i looked,THIS is their bowl game.....

are the kids that vapid....and the coach that easily distracted that they don`t prepare properly for bowl games?....

Their are PLENTY of reasons to take OU over USC. However, USC vs UCLA game and UCLA's performance tonight is NOT one of them. If you watched the USC vs UCLA game closely, it is easy to see USC could have blown out UCLA. USC also was starting true frosh on OL and he got blown up throughout the game. Drake the senior is back for OB. You also forget USC was UCLA's bowl game and they had 3 weeks to prepare for their arch rival. Doesn't OU have 3 weeks to prepare for USC? USC had 1 week to prepare for UCLA and USC just beat rival ND the week prior.

I AGREE! Tonight was not their night. However, they were opposite against USC. You also forgot to mention UCLA was undermanned coming in and during the game.

Who cares. It was obvious UCLA did not come to play. They are not good enough to just show up and beat a team who was excited/pumped up to be there. USC maybe could have beat Wyoming by just showing up. UCLA couldn't.

YES. They got free trip to Las Vegas and had fun. They didn't come to Las Vegas to play football. Hell, 2 players were sent home this week for showing up drunk to practice. That was a telling sign and I immediately bought my bet back on Wyoming. Should have bet Wyoming but glad I only lost vig. I originally had UCLA for a small play.

If I was a recruit and watched them just get their a$$ handed to them by Wyoming, I think I would be looking elsewhere. In UCLA's minds I am sure that USC was very important, but if this coach does not understand that recruiting does matter on bowl results, then he better start.

I am a Tennessee fan, and we have an average at best bowl coach in Fulmer. He has won 2 good bowl games, FSU to win the championship and Michigan 2 years later. If he gets his a$$ handed to him like he has the last three years, recruits will start wondering what the hell is going on.

Still haven't decided on USC-Okie though!!

Me too! Unless playing time was important in a major city/program. Or if staying close to home was important.

This is only Dorells 2nd year and this loss puts a sour note on what was a decent year for them. Remember, UCLA is rebuilding. Toledy left it in a mess.

UCLA has never shown up for bowl games. I dunno why but they don't. In the beginning i was conviced they were gonna win, but I laid off and went with the OVER in hopes that UCLA was gonna score more points than just 21. They came out flat, and I did lose a small bet(that looked good BEFORE the game started). I'm glad UCLA lost, those bastards, they needed to show some heart, but i guess sin city got to them. Hawaii today...
