WV pound another conference champ? 38-35 I think was the score.

tOSU and Michigan both have there game next week, there is no reason for a rematch.

tOSU and Texas rematch would make more reasoning does anyone disagree that Texas is much better than they were on Sept.9th. Also the gun touting pot smoking CB will play in that game this time.

Not hearing anyone talking about Texas winning last year helping them get a shot over some other one loss teams.

HELL
Somehow someway USC will get into the NC game. Just watch, beat Oregon-Cal-ND and they will earn their way back in. That is a big IF, but I certainly can see it happen regardless of what any other teams does. This board needs some life to it and if the above scenario plays out, here comes Scott4USC and he has been just waiting quietly. Gentlemen, prepare yourselves.

I am a homer by bashing the Big East?

Am I a homer when I bet against Texas? Am I homer when I have not posted anywhere that texas deserves to be in the title game.Am I a homer when i say the Big 12 sucks this year?

Wilson you are the homer here....and now that your team had its ass kicked you just want to piss on everyone else....regardless of facts.

Pretty funny comment saying the big 12 is weak. Rutgers would get rolled by Texas and OU.

OK, if you wanna say take out OSU, Michigan, and Wisconsin and the big 10 isn't anything. Well take out Florida, LSU, and Auburn and the SEC isn't anything.

Take out Louisville, WV, and Rutgers and the Big East is garbage.

So what?

:mj07: I was thinking the same thing myself, take out the top 3 in Big East and what do u get? I honestly think Pac10 - SEC woud still be decent if you took the top 3 teams from both of those out, but this is such a stupid WHAT !F comment that does not need any more thought.

Wilson,

I agree with you somewhat that the Big 12 is a little weak this year, but to say Rutgers would win it is rediculous. They are a good team as is West VA and Louisville, however I think you are just trying to get people riled up Scott, I mean Wilson:mj07:

Tease I have a new found respect for you with the "Duke Sucks" sig.

LOL, that has been there for over a year. I think after the 10th time I bet against them, only to be screwed by some phantom call, I decided that they really suck. Unfortunately all referees disagree with me.

"I usually don't like starting these types of threads"...However, the Big 12 is such a shitty conference with virtually zero vitality below the top two teams....as a matter of fact that conference just fawking sucks.

The Big 12 DOES NOT deserve to be represented in the MNC game with a one loss team. Please look to the SEC.

Rutgers would win the Big 12. :SIB
:mj07: :mj07: :mj07:
Rutgers would finish in the bottom of the big 12 with Baylor:mj07: You are absolutely crazy to think they win the Big 12Texas should win out and play for the BCS title. I believe in a playoff system would fix everything.

What is surprising to me is the lack of discussion concerning the weakness of Ohio State's opponents so far.

Excluding a quality win over Texas, OSU has beaten only three teams with a winning record and all of them have only six wins. The average number of wins for those nine opponents is just 4.6 yet they are the consensus No. 1 team in the country after beating a two win Illini team by only seven points last week. Texas is the only ranked team the Buckeyes have beaten this season.

Any discussion regarding weak schedules has to include Ohio State. They may very well win out and take home the crystal football but it will not be because they are some sort of giant killers.

Just my $0.02.

It sure looked like a pounding at the time. WV scored 4 TD's before GA got on the board, then they coasted in for the win. WV was the dog and very few believed they would win the game.

Favored SEC CONFERENCE CHAMPION beaten by the BIG EAST that alone defines pounding.

and my $0.02 worth. How soon we forget who
went to the NC game last year and were given
no chance to beat the ALMIGHTY RUBBERS.
Who started a new QB first game of the season
against the current #1 team, who has a seasoned
QB, and lost. Since then, new QB has grown up
exponentially and would give Ohio St, Mich, USC,
and anyone else fits in the NC game. Talent is
talent, and Texas is loaded. JMHO

So what the system is flawed, do you really think a playoff system would be any less problematic.

Instead of who is 1 & 2 we would be hammering away about who the top 8 are for the playoffs.

Few are willing to recognize McCoy's growth and accomplishments. The kid has already surpassed Texas' all-time passing touchdown record and is only two shy of the NCAA freshman record with two games to go. By the way, he has thrown ony three interceptions to go along with his 27 touchdowns. Colt is a coach's son and will play four years giving hime a real shot at two Heismans and don't even think about laughing at the possibility of this happening.

When will the NCAA wake up and smell the roses?
They have a gold mine they are walking on, but
their feet are numb. ( Don't have a lot between
their ears either ).

I will say now that we never see two Heisman winners. WOuld be a rare guy that good who would even stay in school 4 years. White and Leinhart couldnt do it, and voters wont want it.

Colt will have a helluva shot next year though. Horns have non-existant non-conference schedule, Tech and Nebraska at home, Big 12 title game in Houston I believe. Absent some sort of devestating injuries you can almost book Texas with an unbeaten season and in next year's title game. And probably against USC.
