Ive got a futures bet for UCONN to win it all, stand a chance to win $10,000, should i hedge or let it ride? I made this wager at the beginning of the season, not sure whether to let it ride or heddge-what you think?

I don't know the ins and outs of how and why one hedges. However, your team has come out of the first weekend without covering,as has Villanova. That means that they haven't had to expend the effort great play takes out of a team to advance this far, saving it for the bigger games.I feel they will certainly be in the final four.If they can somehow advance to there with one more non-cover either against UW or the next opponent this weekend you likely have yourself a winner.Going into final four weekend 1-3 ATS means to me that that team will play better then expectations(the spread) in their last two games, see North Carolina last year..

If I was in your spot I wouldn't hedge anything. Maybe just your original bet. !000. that is if you got them at 10-1 you laid 1 Grand. Tell you a sick one. I had the Indians vs Florida. Some at 12-1, some at 8-1 and 7-1. Didn't hedge a thing. The pay back was over 15K. I still see that line drive go over Nagy's head and Counsel rounding 3rd waving his arms. If I had to do it over I would get my Inital investment back. Good luck whatever you do.

UConn is going to win. And I see little chance they dont win their region so I wouldnt worry about it until next week if at all.

They are almost a certainty to make the final four, but after that, they don't have the "guts" to win it.. Something is missing from this team, and I don't think they have the balls to turn it on when they are truly tested. I'd start hedging in Semifinal if I were in your shoes, versus Villanova in all likelihood.

i would not hedge against mason. they are tough, but f'n uconn sleeps through the game and wins..........ie wash. maybe i don't hedge at all. uconn will beat villanova, again. and texas is gone. the lsu team is very fun to watch, but i just don't think they are deep enough.

Ara your right, UCONN is in DEEP doodoo vs. George Mason (aka this year National Champs)...HAH...UCONN clearly has an easy entrance into the finals, were LSU will suprise them and cut down the net with their baby Shaq phenomenon

hey Ara are you really comparing the young, unexperienced, overachieving (for what was expected of them this year) to UCONN who all year has been lights out?

And comparing Mich St, who for the last 2 months played like a sub .500 Ivy League squad to these Huskies as well? Of course it will not be a cakewalk, but it will be very close to it...UCONN absolutley outclasses George Mason in every shape and form

Don't overlook this LSU team, they already almost upset UConn in Connecticut. I think they lost by 1. If LSU gets by UCLA, I would hedge a small bet on LSU.

No way would I hedge it until the last game. Then do the ML for 2 Dimes whoever they play.

If Uconn makes it that far, as a #1 seed they will likely be favored in that game. If that is the case, take the other team WITH THE POINTS as you can win BOTH bets that way.

"UCONN absolutley outclasses George Mason in every shape and form"

hmmm i think Iowa outclassed Northwestern St, what happened there?

UNC outclassed G Mason at every position, what happened there?

I think Iowa St outclassed Hampton that year Hampton won, going on a limb here though lol..

Vyrus are you for real? have you not learned that once the madness starts talent takes a back seat. Upsets do happen!!

to say that G Mason has no chance is an utter joke. THey MANHANDLED Mich St (who did beat some good teams) and in the 2nd half they DESTROYED UNC (who went into Duke and won)...

stop being so 1 sided and wake up....
