because no 5 star center plans on staying in school for 4 years. if youre that good and a big man, 1 and done. maybe 2.

wtf is so special about michigan? Why would a bigtime center want to play a pick and pop princeton offense. :mj07:

my guesses --

my guesses --

after the ncaa penalties from the fab 5 era, Michigan has probably fallen to bottom of wish list for most top recruits. cant under-estimate how much sanctions from those guys set back that program. dont think they have too many 5 star kids at guard or fwd either, let alone center.

current coach likely to recruit a big kid who can face the basket & shoot from outside the lane imo. most 5 star high school centers are gonna be back to the bucket type kids who dominate other smaller high school kids. beilein hasnt ever had an offense that worked inside out that i can remember.

and last, the most obvious guess. maybe they just dont pay enough!

but they will start from day 1 hell even a 3 star center will start from day 1. They have no inside game and a kid will get instant playing time at Michigan.
