You sure did, Blair Walsh has not looked good, thankfully it's only pre season. Not only did you get fucked good but did you see the play on how Arizona took the lead on 4th and goal? If that would have been regular season the TV would of went out the window
Oh, yeah. I saw the last half of the 4th quarter. The comedy of events that led to Minnesota not covering by 3 was just unreal. How that ball could be thrust forward by a lineman and legally advanced is beyond me. Not to mention the huge 33-yard PI call on the Vikes before that. Teddy sure looked good though.
Yes both quarterbacks looked good. Cassle has had a great camp as well. People laugh at me but they are going to be an explosive offense. They finished 16th last year and that was with Musgrave not Turner, plus they had Ponder start 4 or 5 games and Freeman start another. Just a complete coaching disaster. Add in Patterson in his second year, Kyle Rudolph lost 15 pounds is quicker and healthy and Greg Jennings in his second year on the team. Cassle getting the majority of snaps this off season, oh yeah the entire offensive line is back and intact. They are going to score points, will the defense stop anyone.
On that Arizona drive, the PI was horrible and isn't there an illegal batting rule? The offensive lineman just batted that ball and it went forward. Just stupid, if that was a regular season game and they had lost it would of been a disgrace
Yeah, they should be a hell of a lot better this year on offense, but they will probably have to get some wins via shootout with that defense. Do you think Bridgewater wiill ride the pine all year if Cassel stays healthy? I think Bridgewwater style of passing will thrive in a West Coast offense, but then again it should be good for Cassel, too.
It is illegal for any player but the fumbler to advance a fumble BOTH on fourth down at any point during the game AND within the two-minute warning of either half. That they did not reverse this call on replay is beyond atrocious. As you said, this would have been a travesty during any regular-season game.
