the book is going to adjust the line. you're not going to keep the same line if there is a pitching change. it's best to never play action because you might not like the new line or the pitching change.

Great advice. I can't remember the last action game I played. I think some people get confused and think they can get one in on a book like that. Nope.

Jack, I always play listed pitchers when I play offshore, but my local outs doesn't change the line with action. He doesn't more than a nickel on a game, but he keeps the line whether it moves against you or for you. I didn't realize they adjusted the lines offshore. Do all the books do that?

john, YOU are the man that taught me that a LONG time ago.

imagine playing ARI today (action) at -120 and they bring in Randy. would be a nice deal, huh? or, a bad deal if you if you had MON +110 vs. Randy

Thanks guys- just to clarify.

If I play the cubs action with Williams as the starter @-113 and their is a pitching change to Herndon and the line goes to Cubs -130 I will still have my play @ -113 because I played it action. correct???

I agree listed is the way to go, I think this is the first time I have ever played action and I always thought it worked this way.......

Back in the old days I don't remember doing that, but it really makes sence that with dime lines the books would protect themsleves.

I haven't been on the other side on the phone in eight years, but we used to keep the line . . . but it was a twenty cent line with 6 to 5 pick. We could afford to make mistakes.

Imagine the guessing games that would go on if they didn't adjust lines when they changed the pitchers. For the action bets.
Yes, Jack, Johnson would be a pleasant suprise at -120 with some book that didn't adjust. You don't know any, do you? hehe.

Jack-
I know the guy had health problems later and I am sorry for that. But when it came to this stuff, he led a charmed life. If I ran a shop like he did, I wouldn't have two pencils to rub together. I am thankful that I have the four pencils that I do have.
LMAO again.
