take a nice look at tampa.....i followed fossum throughout spring training and he was absolutely horrible...it actually got to the point where i grabbed the paper one morning on my way to work...little hungover (whats new)....and fron page bottom right hand corner...said ...Fossum finally has good outing...something to that effect....i get to the box score waiting to see 4 innings pitched 3 hits no runs...and i see 3 innings pitched 2 earned runs...it was better than his prior performances but i wouldnt consider that a tremendous outing...
and Pirates fans you can chime in here...as i think he pitched 2 uotings against the pirates and was lit up both times in spring training...
i have to go to Court...wish i had his numbers in front of me ...but i know they were down right brutal...
i posted in this forum about 2 months ago.."why the redsox are pathetic"...if someone can find that post i think i had some numbers in there in his first few starts...
now im not saying Bosox wont put up numbers today against this kid....but i dont think anything justifies Fossum at minus 200 with the spring he had
