On the course!
He committed suicide right?

I didnt know him but I will donate.. I cant think of a more selfish act than to off yourself when you have a family.

POS

Happy to help those left to pick up the pieces

It is considered a selfish act, but if we don't know the circumstances, it's a tough call.

Bullied children commit suicide, and it's unlikely they are being selfish.

Most suicide victims suffer from DEPRESSION. Just like handicaps of the physical nature, we all are not "wired" the same. I'm not defending suicide, just trying to make it easier to understand. To me, it's a pernanent solution, to a temporary problem. :0008

How do you know it was suicide? I couldn't find any information on what happened.

Most suicides occur over the holidays.

Looking at his FB page I find it somewhat strange his wife wished him a Merry Christmas on the 26th. And told him that she loved him. I know he was crazy in love with her, maybe they were having marital problems. Who knows.....way to young.

I can't remember the username but wasn't there another Madjacker that committed suicide right after X-mas as well? This was not the first time this happened to the Madjacker community.

I liked the theboundbook, I exchanged a couple e-mails with him maybe 8 years ago or so, he seemed really upbeat and happy back then.

Oh and did anybody notice in his Obit it mentioned he loved betting on sports, that was something you don't read in the Obits very often:shade:

Just curious. Was he in bad financial shape? No life insurance?

life ins doesn't pay out on a suicide in 1st 2 years typically. after that it will usually pay out unless it states something otherwise. judging by his posts here, he tried to give off the illusion he was very well off financially. never spoke to him.

Suicide is so tough. It affects so many people and ruins lives. I agree with the sentiment that it's a selfish act, but it's so much more than cut and dry. Can only feel for the people that it has affected.

I have a friend whose son got in over his head with offshore outfits and committed suicide. The father claims his kid owed over $100,000. The son shot himself over the debt
