T2. USC
T2. UGA
4. Missouri
T5. West Virginia
T5. Kansas

Are ties cheating? ;) Ok... so it's my top 6! :SIB

1.) LSU....hey, they won last night, and nobody did beat them in regulation time this year. ;)

2.) UGA.....gave them the nod here because I feel they have the better QB than USC and "better" losses than USC....love the Moreno/Brown combo in the backfield and that defense might be better than LSU's

3.) USC.....it is easy to make a case for them at #2....but in the end losing at home to Stanford drops them down a peg in this dog and pony showcase.

4.) West Virginia. This is where it starts to get tricky. Do I go w/ Mizzou based on the their losses are better than WVA's, or do I go by WVA's win over OU while MIssou went 0-2 vs OU.....when able to compare common foes, i like defering to that.

5.) Missou......they grab the top spot ahead of KU because of what happened on 11/24

Rest of my top ten would be:

6.) KU.....oh to have that second quarter back against Missou, or some better field goal kicking that game.

7.) OSU....could drop them farther, but, hey they did play LSU much better than Va Tech did, right!?!?

8.) Va Tech.....not so sure this team would lose too many, say, three game series against the teams above them.

9.) Oklahoma....wow, both Texas Tech and WVA, two totally different offenses exposed this alleged top flight D.

10.) Auburn.....pretty much by default....no knock against Auburn at all, they are dame good. But UGA handled them big time in November, just to show how big the drop off is from 2 to 10.

Could not put Texas in there, although on talent alone they are int he top 10 and looked great in the Bowl game....gave consideration, albeit not much to BC in the 10 spot.....I really could not find a worthy team other than Auburn for the 10 spot, but I was going by memory, so let me know if I left an obvious one out.

No OU?

lose Patrick and Kelly most likely, but replaceble with Murray(4.3 speed) and Chaney (6'4) still have Bradford QB, Iglesis-WR, Johnson-WR and Gresham-TE all back on O, dont know if Loadholt will be back at LT, solid recruits coming in, not sure what they lose on D.....

I think we're ranking top-5 after this season.....not preseason for next year......although that would be a pretty cool discussion, not sure if I want to thread hijack though.....i do that enough as is. ;)

Pretty good evaluation.

Texas has no business being top 10 though.

Thanks.....funny thing is I just checked out the actual polls......BC and Texas tied for 10th in the AP and the coaches gave Texas #10.

Florida did not drop much in the AP at all. Az St still is up there high.....and despite my "analysis" the pollsters have Auburn nowhere near the top 10.

In no particular order

WV
LSU
USC
UGA
MIZZU
KANSAS

No I'm not bias, see avitar. I want a playoff of these 6, any of them could be #1 the way they played in their bowl games, all but Kansas blew out their opponent. We, their fans enjoyed a great season, I still want more.:SIB

1. Kansas - Only team with one loss and that loss was a tough game against Misery. Also a complete homer pick

2. LSU - Still don't think they're very good, but they are the Champs with 2 losses LMAO!

3. USC - Most talented team IMO, but how do you lose as 40 point chalk to Stanford?

4. Georgia - Solid team!

5. West Virginia - Trounced OU

6. Missouri - If they could just beat the Sooners... they would have been playing in the National Championship game.

7. Oklahoma - They beat Misery twice

8. Va Tech

9. Ohio State - Really showed their true colors getting bitch slapped in the NC game... bunch of losers!

10. Texas - Ton of talent, but weren't coached very well.

11. Tennessee

12. Boston College

13. BYU

14. Michigan

15. Florida

16. Auburn

17. Cincinatti

18. Hawaii

19. Arizona State

20. Clemson

Like your call on Kansas, I was thinking the same thing. One loss to a team ranked 3rd at the time and they beat everyone else on their schedule. Everyone else had losses to teams they should have beaten with ease. I still go with WVU as my homer pick.
