Series 4 game 3

These numbers turned out about like they have the last few years.

HT---------------7-7 (24-18)
HF---------------6-4 (19-8)
HD---------------1-4 (5-10)
F-----------------10-4 (30-12)
Totals-----------8-5-1 (15-24-3)

Here's some more stats I find interesting.

Teams that won game 1 wins series------12-2
Teams that won game 1 but lost game 2 wins series---7-2

Hope everyone has done well so far. I should have done better because this series followed the pattern for AL parks but I didn't.

I revised the numbers on game 1 to reflect the rain-out. We also had another rain-out yesterday.

HT 8-5
HF 6-2
HD 4-1
Fav 6-7
Totals 8-3-2 with both AL parks going over.

We have 5 teams that won game one but lost game 2. Any of those that are favs today are a potential plays. The overs are 16-7-4 with 3 of the overs in the two AL parks. Good luck today.

J, I would have to go back and count it but I made good money the last two years playing the home fav that lost game 2. Today that would be Oak. I also try to stay away from road teams that won game 1 and lost game 2.

Series 6 game 1

HT 10-4
HF 5-2
HD 4-3
F 8-6
Totals 8-6

A few things that might be of interest. We have played 5 series and 1 game. Through 5 series the home team in game 1 is winning 60% but dropping to 50% for the next two. Favs are winning 60% in games 1 and 2 but jumping to almost 70% in game 3. HF are hitting at 64% for all 5 series but this is mis-leading. In series 3 they only hit 50% which means they hit 68% for the other 4 series.

Good luck tonight

A couple of things I want to point out. In IL the team that wins game 1 wins the series. This is true throughout year but in IL the per centages go up. Look for HF that won game 1 but lost game 2. Seven teams are in a position to sweep. I will be surprised if over 4 do.

Series 6 game 2

HT 6-8
HF 4-4
HD 2-4
Fav 8-6
Totals 7-5-2

If you had played (up to this point) RFs, you would have won 46 and lost 34. Unless my math is bad this morning, that is 56%. Over the last three years the ave dog has paid +130. That translates into a pretty good size loss.

IL has been good to me again this year and I hope this thread has help some of you. Good luck tonight

Well, IL 2003 is over. Some of us did just fine and some of us wish they would never do it again.

HT 5-9
HF 4-3
HD 1-5
Favs 9-4 (pk in CWS game)
Totals 5-9

Teams that won game 1 won series 10-4.
Teams that swept --4

Heaven, oh!!, this isn't it?!
:) Thanks a bunch Joe...

Question, Yesterday there were 4 situations where the home favorite won game one, lost game two....
Toronto
Boston
KC
Seattle
These teams went 1-3 in the third game, wondering if you played these? Or how you rate them?

Again, this thread has been very helpful too me;)
See you in Vegas?

motin,

in all game 2's of IL tonight, you have to look at the one home fav that lost last night. (ana).

oakland/cinn and hou/seattle are playing their 3rd game of the series. oakland has already won that series, winning the first two games.

if you are following these trends, then you have to take a real hard look at playing seattle tonight, since that series is 1-1 with seattle winning the first game.

i already played anaheim and seattle for tonight.

there's alot more to it that that, i just know the "IL for dummies" version.

gsp and others can help much more.

good luck to all:)

There's no system to it. What happened last year has happened for the last four years. Maybe longer because that's all I've been tracking them. Tonight I need Balt and Sea for a four teamer with Stl and Tor. I've already covered my play on Sea so I can't lose tonight. Assuming Balt wins. By the way, I'm in Littlle Rock and on my way to Okla City. Good luck tomorrow
