While my first "pay to see" game this year was a winner, that is not any guarantee that this will have the same result. That being said, here we go:

I will place my hard earned cash on the Rangers of Texas today.

Yes, I do realize that the Cole Hamels that is pitching today is not the same Cole Hamels that pitched for the Phillies and was dominating in 8 out of every 10 starts. I also know that the Rangers have only won more than 2 games in a row 3 times all year. Before the season started this is what I would have expected the line to be on this game, but what this season has proven so far is that the Astros are not the same team as they were last year. One of, but certainly not the only reason is KEUCHEL's performance to this point. He's been a home run producing machine so far this year, allowing 6 already which puts him on a pace of 24, vs his 17 in the entire of last year. He has nearly a 5 1/2 ERA (5.48) and a WHIP of 1.58. He is not fooling many batters as he heads to the bump on a hot (although the roof will most likely be closed) doggie Sunday. Do I think that he is as bad as his numbers? Probably not, but I don't think that Texas will help him find his way back today. In addition to that, Houston is 2-8 vs lefty's to this point. Beyond that, Texas is just playing better baseball than the Stro's at this point.

The line has moved from -130 to -149, and as I was typing that, up to -151, which is definitely not the direction that I would like to see the line move, however, I will not be swayed. Once again, maybe the big $$$$ guys know a bit, if not A LOT more than I do, but I will for the 2nd time this year, "Pay To See".......

Good luck in whatever you do.
