Illinois @ Northwestern

Still looking at a couple things, but I'm thinking Illinois BIG here!!! NW is a decent home team and with this being road conference game the spread is pretty much where it should be. Illinois just average team away from home, but today they should take this one BIG and play with some defensive motive after giving up 95 pts to Wisconsin their last game. NW just 4-11 ATS this season so far...not very good.
Vegas may know something we don't with the visitors winning the last four games and NW winning three of the last five. So, history says NW will compete. However, when I look at this season, NW has lost three Big 10 games by 25 pts per game. They have all been against first tier teams.
Their home wins have come against:
Eastern Ill
Ill Chic
Ind Purdue
Gardner Webb
Western Mich
Miss Valley St
Brown
They've lost at home to, Ill St, Depaul and Wisconsin so two teams from the state of Illinois that has to be a good sign for us. They are 4-11 ats.
Illinois hasn't been exactly stellar this year but I think they have more than this poor Wildcat team.

Awful. ...I should have went with my gut and said there is a reason is 5.5. Now when Illinois plays Iowa who northwestern lost to by 25 they will win straight up
