Missed you, Ray. Glad you have a positive prognosis. Look forward to your comeback to the board, just in time for the Dance.

All you guys thank you for all the kind words and thoughts. This has always been like a home to me. Its like I know all of you well, and I have never really met you. I told a gambler friend years ago when he was really sick and dying. "Gamblers are a different brand of people. They are strong and you keep fighting till you can't fight no more."

BA,

Fantastic to read that you won the fight..Until a doctor tells you there is no worse feeling in the world.

You "Keeping Smiling" and keep us posted...friggin awesome when you win these battles.

Old school your right. Until a doctor tells you your free of this crap it is brutal with that hanging over your head. I just thank God I had my 2 daughters to hang in there with me. They kept me going and fighting.

Nice guys finish in first place sometimes. I missed your posts and really positive demeanor here.

Truly fantastic that the treatments--and your strength of will--beat this.

Great to have you back Raymond!

jng thank you

eeeerock we still have to meet at the casino buddy.:mj07: I can't smoke anymore and not suppose to drink much. Well 3 packs of smokes a day and all the beer and whiskey I drank in my life, I wonder what caused the cancer.

The only bad thing I still have to deal with is they fried my saliva glands. It was close to the cancer. i'll never get them back.I have to carry a bottle of water with me all the time. My taste buds might come back in about 6 months. Everything tastes like cardboard. Prime Rib and hot dogs peanut butter and jelly all taste the same.

My neighbor went through some throat cancer a few years ago and says he still can't taste much of anything.Only thing he can tell is if it is hot or cold and can feel the carbonation if/when he drinks a beer. Well he drinks a beer as fast as I can drink water. He never smoked and still got it. Long story short he always makes homemade horseradish around particular holidays, so now I'm his guinea pig to tell him if it tastes right. I'm okay with it because he always gives me a few jars and nothing in a store is matching this stuff.
I haven't been downtown in quite a while, but if it ever appears I will, I will try and get a hold of you...Hope your taste buds come back !!!!

Wineguy that's why I didn't want to answer you that day. I didn't want to steal D2's thread and they were operating on me in 2 days which was the day before yesterday.
