I'm glad a Liberal didn't say this or else it would be played over and over again on those Radical Right Wing Radio Shows.Rumsfeld warns of new threats to come

May 23, 2003 | WASHINGTON (AP) -- Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld told
the U.S. Naval Academy graduating class Friday that once the global war on
terrorism is over, they and others in the military will face new threats,
possibly including a world with even more danger from nuclear weapons.

"ONE DAY THE WAR ON TERROR WILL END _ not soon, but it will end," he said. "And
you will face still more challenging tasks, possibly a world with double the
number of nuclear
nations, and MANY OF THOSE NEW NUCLEAR STATES (WILL BE) TERRORIST NATIONS."

So, this right wing dope who once thought Saddam would be a good guy to have on our side now thinks that the war on terror will end some day, but after it ends we will face new threats of TERROSTS nations with nuclear weapons.:shrug:

I think what he's trying to say is that when we confirm that terrorists have nuclear weapons, that will be the signal that the war on terror is over. And not a minute before.

Can be confusing at times. Lets get all the money we need to titan the borders. Right now the boys in DC are not giveing enough out.

I still think it's time for the Frogs and Krauts to step up. If they want to help with Iraq, they need to send some MPs and several billion in aid over. I'm all for using their troops to police the country (with our commanders) and get our men home.
