Pirates EV
Pirates suck, make no mistake about it, but they can't lose them all and Ryan Vogelsong has some very positive splits working for him tonight. .288 WOBA and .214 BAA at PNC Park where the Pirates play tonight. Left handed batters are where Vogelsong struggles and the Card bring to the left side of the plate:
(all stats from previous four weeks)
Wong .306 WOBA .110 ISO
Moss .383 .366
Adams .333 .217
Hazelbaker .370 .271
Outside of Wong those are pause for concern, but Moss and Adams are the only ones who bat next to each other with Hazelbaker batting 8th. I expect those guys to cause problems but not too much as Vogelsong has a .296 WOBA and .221 BAA vs RHB. If he keeps the righties off the bases then the power from the lefties can only cause so many problems.
I'm in on the Pirates tonight.
As well as:
Phillies/Marlins over 8
Baltimore +120
Det/CWS Over 9.5
Cubs -175
