Well fellas, I am leaving the great state of Texas. I am moving to Los ANgeles California. I will be leaving here Dec 31, 2004 in the morning. I will be getting my feet wet with MLB and NFL players during their off season training there. I am about to graduate college (Dec 17) and I :cursin: have to Drive from San Antonio out to LA (in a damn Yukon) 12mpg !!! :scared
Are there any fellow Mj'ers in California, specifically LA. I have never bee West of Texas and dont know squat about LA or Cali for that matter.

Lost in Texas
So long. :sadwave:

One less MJer from Texas.

BTW, the gas prices on the trip through west Texas were outrageous compared to SA. At least when I went at the beginning of Nov. :142slap:

I also thought that this was going to be another post about someone going pay.

Oh Christ, more traffic!!

All kidding aside, you'll acclimate fine. Surf in the morning (sorry, I forgot you've been landlocked), ski in the afternoon, and play golf into the evening and still be home for monday night football. Vegas is a short drive, wear your shorts year around, and all the women you could want.

Down side is ....uh...well, bring $$

Have a safe trip..... :toast:

Vegas is about 6 hours away, and the drive isnt to bad...Youll love LA, alot of action and nightlife, since you jsut graduated im sure you will like to get some partying in...It will be hard to at first to get adapted as it is anotehr world out here, but if you let things happen by themselves you'll find LA to be a thrill...lots of good restaurants and shopping centers, and some of the finest women in the world. Good Luck

A word of caution concerning the night life in california, Do not even think about driving after having a few drinks. The state make's a living off DUI's.
