I'm assuming Birmingham, Alabama. If so, about 7 hour drive from Indy. Another 6 hours to Toronto from here. Long ass drive but can be done. Sorry to hear about plane issues my friend.

If it's Birmingham, England look on the bright side, at least they figured it out before you were half way over the pond...

If Birmingham, AL tell a cabbie to take you to Lakeview, grab a beer at Innisfree or Barking Kudu and look at all the Alabama/Auburn Univ. girls have to offer....

OT's is a couple dives up the street from Innisfree if youre into cougars...

thank god for that, i had a similar problem when i came here in september, plane was speeding up on the runway for take off, just as it was to lift off, pilot hit the brakes and turned off all engines, engine failure, scary shit.

at least i get to see some NCAABB games now :)

Great buddy! Getting married (out of my league) May 23rd. Work is great and gambling has been going well!

Hope you can make it for a weekend w/ the MJs trip!

:mj06:

BTW, my family is from Birmingham England originally... some 60 years ago! Still have family there that my mother and gm have gone to meet...

Woodson, what part of birmingham? I am on the edge of the city (EDGBASTON), where the campus is located, a 15 minute walk from downtown birmingham.

Lovely town, but nothing like back home, though the winters are very mild here, never got temps lower than 0C all winter! Though it can rain here quite often.
