I'm tired of being an adult, anyone else?

Look, I love my wife and kids and couldn't imagine life without them, this is a relfelction on me, not them.

I work 40+ every week, getting up at 3:00 AM and have the paycheck direct deposited to pay the bills etc... and I know thats my lot in life because I have to be the responsible one and take care of everything otherwise shit will just go straight to hell around here.

I don't hold a grudge against the wife or kids for any of this, I want to make that much clear, but some days I sit here and think about all I have to do just to keep this rat in the race and I honestly wanna pound my head off the keyboard. (did I mention the doctor now wants to ram a hose with a camera up my ass?).

Does anyone else get up some days and just think, **** it, I'm gonna drink beer, play Xbox, bet a grand on a game just because it's on TV and smoke pot all day and deal with it tomorrow? :iagree:

Especially with a wife and kids!
take care of yourself pf....physically and spiritually...
You won't feel that way and the folks at home will appreciate what you do all the more.
Anxiety is a bitch...not knowing things etc.
Address those issues head on and continue doing the right thing.
You will feel 100% better..jmho

That was my Monday (called in sick) after the superbowl, did everything but bet that day, but I bet the day before on the Superbowl. Pretty much did everything you said in the above sentence.

I have to beg some days just for money to buy the paper

I miss being a kid, unfortunately they have been off the hook in my area ,destroying mailboxes bombing cars from the hill with snowballs,Its been most likely a decade since i smoked a whole joint,If tomorrow morning i could just light up,Chug a 40 oz,Masterbate to some porn,Raid the fridge,And than go outside and build a snowman close to the curb full of cinerblocks and wait 4 these bastards i'm jealous of to do some demo work :fingerc:

We all have those days. Don't suppress it, talk to the wife about it, she has those days too. You sound like a guy that does the right thing most of the time and will continue to do so. Tomorrow will always come if you are fortunate, so when you let lose, don't dig to deep of a hole your responsible ass has to get out of. Forget the grand on the game,bet a hundred for action, pay someone to take care of the kids and spend the rest on a short trip from home for you and the wife. I know this is simple but life is what you make it. We have nothing to complain about. If you don't like it, change it.
