Guys...I had a good day yesterday winning 2 un on Wash, 2.6 on wash/minny parlay, 1 un on minny, 1 un on det, while losing 1 un on KC, Balt,Atl, and NO...I feel like my NFL prognostications have been pretty solid with a push on the colts who blew 3 red zone oppurtunities and Atl who gave up a td with 40 seconds left for SF to cover...i was on the wrong team for Balt, KC, NO...
Now on to tonights game: I dont feel too strongly about it. People could argue either way and i wouldnt disagree with them but it is MNF so therefore it deserves a play.
GB vs Car
Car at home coming off a SB appearance. Confidence and Expectations are high for this team as they are hyped by many to compete with Philly in the NFC for this years berth in the Super Bowl. I, however, do not buy the hype. Stephen Davis is a solid back who is injury prone and unless deshaun foster gets 10 carries a game, Davis will be out by mid-season. Carolina has a great Defensive Line and good solid LB's (coached by sam mills, for saints "dome patrol" member). EDGE to the panthers here. But they will be battling one of the top O Lines in the league tonight which will definitely take from their effectiveness. CBs edge go to Green Bay who just signed one of their studs to a long term deal, so they should expect extra out of their unit tonight. On the offensive side of the Ball GB is a much better team. Ahman Green is the 3rd best RB in the league behind Priest and LT. He should get his yds and TD's tonight. GB's Javon Walker is expecting a breakout type year this year and how better to start that year than some big plays on MNF. At the QB position is a battle of Southern boys, edge to Favre.
In conclusion I dont see this game going over and i could see either team winning and covering, but i'm gonna lay it on Green Bay. Favre would love to end retirement questiosn by coming out firing on the NFC champs in their first game on MNF. Carolina may beat the shit out of em, but my money is with Brett.
After all this you should probaby fade and bet on Carolina...Rebel 21
