Important hedging question...

I have these futures to win Big 10 title...

Wisky 15-1 for 100
Mich 15-1 for 100
Illinois 7-5 for 250
Purdue 6-1 for 100

So it comes down to this on tomorrow's game...

If Wisky wins, I clear 950.
If Ill wins, I clear 50.

Would you hedge this?? With Wisky as 3.5 pt chalk, I could even shoot as a middle. I play nickels and dimes, so I could guarantee almost a full unit if I put 425 on Illinois. How would you all play this??

Depending on what you can get for a ML, the best bet may be as you said to take the points for a healthy shot at a middle. As many on the board have said, with the lines as tight as they are, a 3 point middle is well worth a shot. Wish I were in your shoes!!

You would clear 465+50= 515 with ILLINOIS or 650 with WISKY.

That sounds like a nice days pay.

Oly has game at Wi.-4. I won't play money line when you have a full 3 point middle. I'd jump all over Ill.+4. You could very well catch the middle the way Vegas is setting these lines lately. Good luck in whatever you do, but that's my 2 cents worth.
