The fact he got fired for the comment is ridiculous. I did not even know who he was until the controversy. The good Reverend and Al have railroaded him. They think they are the morality police. Jesse has a love child and the good Reverend, well I do not give a rats ass about him or know anything about the guy. :com:

What I fiind unusual is how Jackson and Sharpton always manage to show up when they feel an African American has been wronged. Ok,... fine. But what happened to the premise of "Rainbow" coalition? Where are they when a Latino is wronged? An Asian? An Italian? A Jew? An Irishman?
Where's the Rainbow?

Imus injected a new phrase into American language!

I started it today, and think you should all join the ranks.

Today, I was in line to pay my cable bill, and what do you know? I got some broad in front of me wearing the dirty tight sweats, and she was the "n word". (That's right......nappy!)

Well, she's pleading her case as to why they should turn her cable back on, etc, and I'm watching the other line go along at break-neck speed, so I switch over.

I finished up, headed over to the club, (yeah...the one with the sauna), and my buddy asks me why I'm running late?

I told him I got "Rutger-ed"!

Maybe they can change their name to the Scarlet Harlets?

Anyway........I shook my head over this idiot's rant, too. That is until these dolts got up in front of the cameras and said shit about being "scarred for life" over his comments.

If you're a 20+ black in Jersey, and that's the worst you've ever had hurled at you.......You should be thanking your god!

Gimmie a break.

xyz check in front of the door for a money slot. throw a check or money order in the envelope and off you go. I use to stand in that line but it never fails i get the same problem. Plus here the cable company doesn't spare much money on the workers behind the glass. They are Walmart caliber.

Vinny have you forgotten what city life is like? We don't live on farms and a thousand miles away from everything.

stephen a smith is one of my least fave people, always thought he was angry, bitter man and seemed to be borderline anti white in his early days when nba team let him sit on the round table ...

he just came on espn and blasted Imus, wonder what his take is on the rapper spin on this ... isnt smith's show cancelled? dont even watch ... saw a couple and watched him kiss guys like marbury's ass, who claimed even this year he was the best PG in nba and smith didnt even blink ... guy had his warhol 15-mins, and will slink away--good riddance to the undeserving

There's no "borderline" about it. He is definitely racist. If you listen to anything he says, his opinions are completely dictated by race. He is completely unable to be unbiased in anything he says. The dislike/contempt/hatred for whites by him is barely constrained when he talks.

one other thing i always thought about smith, he and Rome took similar paths, amped up assholes to get noticed, rammed their concepts down people's throats to get their own gig, then once they got them mellowed out some ... but to me thats phoney way to go about being a professional, but whatever works i guess  ...

its like Madonna, cant stand her or her music, never could; shes all about "reinventing herself" to become something she isnt or wasnt ... kinda sad way to go about life unless all you want is fame and money and pretend to be young your whole existence ...

anyhow, getting back to smith, bitterness is impossible to hide in this world, sure we all have our moments of venom, but your true character and code of honor will ultimately shine through ... Smith's is muddled at best

Smith's anti-white sentiments have been more than vaguely recognized for awhile. They were so obvious that I am surprised even the biggest bunch of bigots (espn) put up with it.
