The lack of an explanation is not an argument for the supernatural. That's old world thinking and is illogical.

yes and no, it is. if it is not physical then it obviously deals with metaphysics. if the non-physical world exists, I think it is safe to conclude their being something of a higher nature.

i am sorry but you are clinging to the notion that everything we view through the the human mind explains everything that we live in a Godless Universe. That is not true and can be consideredan incomplete conclusion on your part.

I think both sides have a case for their being a God and there not being a God. I think it is a stringent debate and it will always be because of our human are limited but our ima

There is ZERO evidence to support the existence of god.

Why is it safe to conclude something that has no evidence to support?!? Absolute nonsense.

No, I cling to the notion that there is zero evidence to support the existence of god. You are making up excuses as to why it makes sense to believe in god....and I guess that makes sense to you, but not for me. I'll take an incomplete understanding of the world over a made up one.

There is no case for there being a god. You can convince yourself otherwise, but the fact is that there is no evidence to support the existence of god.

what was wrong with that statement?

There's not a thing wrong with that statement.

Fact of the matter is there is a God. Omnipotent and omniscient. Eternal and majestic. Some, like gmroz22, prefer not to believe. I feel sad for them. Why? Because gmroz22 has told me he prefers to put his faith in humanity rather than a supreme being. Faith in humanity? That's laughable. When push comes to shove, which mortal do you choose to appear in your time of trouble?

Me? I choose Christ.

Psalm 46:1 ~ "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."

Blessed be the lamb of God.

Oh, what a savior!

Buddy/Spurs: Here's what's wrong with that statement.....HE IS TELLING ME TO DISPROVE SOMETHING HE HASN'T A SHRED OF EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT! That's what's "wrong" with that statement. The burden of proof is on the believer.

Indeed, I am a believer in humanity. I'm sorry that you find humanity laughable, I think it is wonderful. Life is precious and I believe it needs to be lived as such....unlike my religious friends that believe this is just a stopping point on their way to a "better" place. That ignorant logic can cause people to do some really stupid things: Kill themselves, kill others, etc. If you appreciate this life and understand you only get one shot, you'll understand my message.

As for the nonsense about which mortal I choose to appear in times of trouble? That's easy. Friends and family. They will appear because I treated them well and they WANT to help me. You can look to Jesus for help, I choose friends and family.
