The terror alert level remains the same today as it has been for the last 2 years: elevated.

We will be notified if there is a change.

Thanks.

Thanks for letting me know. I wanted to make sure I knew what was up before I left for work.

Thanks again.

If it's only "elevated", then why is it raining so much in So Cal? Man, they can't forecast for shlt.

Last night, the alert in our house went from "elevated" to "condition red".

My wife said, "Hey, I smell something burning!'

A minute later she said, "Hey! You put the DiGiorno pizza in the oven and forgot to remove the cardboard!"

thanks for the reminder, but could you refresh my memory on what color this is? That seems to make more sense, and I think most Americans refer to that. Thanks, info man!

Look pal, I don't go by no stinkin' colors. The scrolling ticker on Fox yesterday said 'elevated.' THEY DIDN'T MENTION A COLOR!

I think the color is orange or brown, or maybe yellow. It's hard to keep track.

I thought they scrapped all that 'Terror Alert scale' idiocy when Ridge left.

I think they did away wit the color scheme because no one could remember what the colors meant. So they always had to explain what the color meant something like "condition yellow, activated, be on high alert. So now they just explain it without the colors.

Is it elevated again today? I see the rain stopped, but it's still very cloudy. Which one is for a downpour, and which one is for overcast with high probability of rain?

Those Al-Qaida guys must have really been scared of Kerry. Seems to me we were having an alert every couple of days during the campaign. Go figure?

Just remember guys how important those colors were. It only cost 10 million for someone to think it up. At least the watch dog group for nutty spending said that about 4 years ago. I always felt so much safer we had colors. ??
