I am extremely dissappointed w/ the Saints draft. WTF?? Does this team not recognize a need for defense. MLB Siler is sitting there ripe for the picking, yet the Saints reach again on yet another small school player that is an obvious project. The main problem is 4 of 5 picks are offensive players. Again, WTF????
I was already expecting no more than 8-8 out of the Saints this season based on the more difficult schedule, and the fact that they aren't sneaking up on teams anymore. Only time will tell, but I, for one, am disgusted with this draft.

CIE I HAVE TO DISAGREE WITH THE 8 - 8 I FEEL OUR SCHDULE IS EASIER THIS YEAR THAN LAST NOW MIND YOU THIS IS JUST MY OPPINION AS FAS AS SNEEKING UP ON SOMEBODY I WANT TO SHOW TEAMS YEAH WE ARE LOADED SEE IT YOU CAN STOP US BUT I TOO AM DISSAPOINTED WITH THE TAKEING OF ONLY 1 DEF PLAYER SO FAR
We have a GM. Mickey Loomis, that is not a football man. He used to be our cap consultant.
Almost forgot, I think Loomis is the reigning Exec of the Year based on last years draft of Reggie Bush (no-brainer) plus picking up 2 "unkown" starters in Rd 4 and Rd 7.
I think Cleveland has had the best draft, two top 5 picks on their team, hopefully they succeed. The Raiders have had a very good draft as well. I am a Texans fan and think they have had a decent draft taking the best player on the board, would like to have seen them take a wr with the first pick, though.
