I may be looking thru my Packer glasses, but here are my thoughts on the game. First, I think the Vikings had a great defensive game plan that kept them in the game. They took away the deep ball and forced the the Packers to run the ball. Teddy could have used better protection and his youthful inexperience showed on occasion. As he gains experience, I'm sure he will get much better. All that said, I thought the Packers were much the better team, and the last TD was more a function of the prevent defense and the Packers giving up yards in exchange for using time off the clock. They were fortunate to be able to recover the subsequent onside kick. Vikings played well and I gained some appreciation for their coaching staff.
The Vikes never kicked and on sides kick, they kicked it deep. It was dumb considering they were kicking it from the 50 after a penalty on the 2 point conversion. I don't know about the last drive, would have to look at it again. I wouldn't say the Packers were much better yesterday, I would say that the QB play or lack there of really hurt the Vikes. Defensively the Vikings have some really good players but I thought they played very soft when Green Bay was running out the clock, they refused to play 9 - 10.
