I don't defend the man personally but the principal as he is no different then anyone else. I wouldn't think it is right if all the bashers came out & ragged on a losing day by lets say gecko for instance. It shouldn't be done to anyone as what exactly is the point? Thanks for singling me out. But you ought to give me credit as well for congratulating AR a few times on his good days. If you want me to, I'll even search for the threads with those posts.

However, I think you are missing the point. Jack said it himself, this is a forum for "serious gambling thoughts and discussions". It's not his plays, but the way he goes around conducting himself in these forums that are a detriment to MadJacks as a whole. In fact, if you go back and read my so-called "bashing" posts, you'll find that I don't do criticize AR for his picks, but rather for the way he posts around here. It's that simple.

It's obvious AR's NOT gotten the point if he's still pulling the same shenanigans. Can't you see that?

I understand your points Gecko. I'm not surprised he generated one huge thread but it seems everyone of his threads turns into a huge one. It is obvious some are bothered by his style or find him funny but a bad image in a way as to what this forum is about. If he is trying to get everyone's attention then he has done his job & will continue to be what people don't want him to be. If he was ignored then this would die down pretty quickly most likely.

Well, I've read all this I can stand without making a comment. This reminds me of other BS that I totally don't agree with and I know that most of you don't either.

"The government should do something about porno on the internet"

"The government should do something about violence on TV"
'The government (Jack) should do something about Anthony"

I could mention a few more but I think you get my slant.

What do these things all have in common? They are all things that as responsible adults we should be able to deal with on a daily basis without outside help. If we can't, we sure as hell shouldn't think we are smart enough to be betting on sports.

So far I haven't seen where Anthony has hurt anyone here. He's won a few and lost a few (who hasn't). One thing I know for sure, he hasn't cost me a penny. Also, I don't remember him downing anyone, calling names, going on other people's threads and belittling them or some of the other BS that other people have come on Jack's and done.

In conclusion, I can accept Anthony for what he is. He might be for real, he might not, he might just be some kid playing on his computor (we've had them on here before). When he starts controling my bank account then I'll take a stand. Until then I wish him and all at Jack's nothing but the best of luck. We all need it.

If we are to believe half the chit we see here. Well then just keep paying the bill after ever losing weekend. The hard core that post records. That have been here more then one year are the ones to keep your eye on for the truth. Most here know who they are. And some are not the ones that get all the hits. Jeff I been here a long time and defend no one. Just telling you as I see it. If we are to drop out those that throw around there remarks how well and how much. Well they come and go ever year. Some never come back and that's good. Some just walk the narrow line with there BS. But if MJ started a section for only the record keepers. It would not be very big compared to all those who post here. The none record keepers could have there own believe it or not area to play in. And the real big BS'ers and liears good all leave.

I know this site is supposed to be for serious discussion. I come on this site to look at the views of others that I feel are competent. I as well as others, are not impressed when people say that they are betting huge amounts of money. I sure this will stop.
However, I dont think it is fair to gang up on AR. If you dont like his pics or what he has to say, just ignore him. I dont know anyone personally on this site. All I know is that that I mirrored 4 out of 6 or 7 bets that he made on SAT 10/4/03. Of AR's bets that he posted on this site,he only missed one. I made a lot of money this week on his picks. The SMART money was on TB last night. I know it did not cover, but I dont think that it is fair to raz him or any others for their picks. We are ALL trying to win, so lets just continue to wish everyone Good luck, and lets all continue to be good sportsmen.

I try to keep an open mind, and that certainly means congratulating AR on his winning plays (as I would anyone else). If I ONLY bashed him, then I have an agenda against him.

And as for "bashing"....go back and read my posts, my friend. It's all about his promises of "easy money" and "guarantees". Not to mention his style of money management (non-existent, I believe). I think we are here to gain information and learn a thing or two about sports gambling, not spread misinformation.

And the issue of CREDIBILITY. You can lose it rather quickly by making the wrong moves. If you want to be credible, get noticed and be a productive member of this forum, at least do it the right way.
