I watched both teams games last week. Ap. St. impressed me a lot with there offense. Their QB ran for over 300 yards and was a very effective and accurate passer when he wanted to be. Their defense did give up some plays, but they are respectable. I'm not sure if Delaware should have beaten Southern Ill. SI missed field goals and just couldn't finish out drives. I will give the Delaware defense some credit for causing some of it, but overall SI really just blew it. On offense Delaware looked to be more of a drop back passing team. They are supposed to have a great RB, but I thought SI did a good job on him.

That said I just don't see how Delaware can stop the Ap. St. QB. When he takes off with the ball it looks like he's returning a kickoff.

I played Ap. St. -5.5. My guess is this will be a big public play, but I just can't see it any other way.

I agree, this could be a shootout. Richmond had a similar style offense as Ap. St. so Delaware could have problems slowing them down. I could see how Delaware could score a lot of points if they get everything clicking just right, but they never got it going last week. The weather could be a factor tonight, but I belive the game is on turf, so it may actually help the offenses.
