The Windy City
According to the injury report for tonight's game, the Ducks will be without defenseman Pavel Trnka, who tried to practice Tuesday but was unable to finish because of a leg injury. To fill out the roster, the Ducks decided not to send defenseman Josh DeWolf to American Hockey League affiliate Cincinnati.

The Ducks assigned center Jason Krog to Cincinnati.

For the Kings, winger Ziggy Palffy did not practice Tuesday to rest a groin injury. Murray said he expects Palffy to play tonight.

Duck goaltender Jean-Sebastien Giguere has a 3.80 goals-against average, much higher than his 2.13 last season. Felix Potvin is expected to start in goal for the Kings but backup Jamie Storr, who was 2-0-1 last season against the Ducks, may get the nod.

Bruins

Bruins

Samsonov has a mild ankle sprain but is expected to play tonight. See today's Bruins thread for more info.

Zamuner is not expected today and maybe tomorrow as he came back to Boston to be with his wife for the birth of their 2nd child - a boy, Alex

Rob Zamuner left the Bruins yesterday to be with his wife, who gave birth to their second child on Monday, according to the Boston Globe. The B's hope to have him back in the mix tomorrow night.
