N/T

Are we having fun, yet?

***********************************

NCAA YTD: 10-7 (+2.40*)
NFL YTD: 7-5 (+1.47*)

North Carolina State(-10) over North Carolina (1.5*)
- - Every leaf I've turned over points toward (or is at least not inconsistent with) a strong spot for State to flex its superior muscles.

Ohio State(-7) over Iowa (1*)

- - Notwithstanding "Tressel Ball", too few touches for Ted Ginn, Jr., and a QB carousel, virtually every leaf I've turned over points toward (or is at least not inconsistent with) a strong spot for State to flex its superior muscles.

Adding . . .

Virginia Tech(-11) over Georgia Tech (1*)
- - I think VT is all that.

Arizona State(-6') over Oregon State (1*)
- - I've been meticulous to the point of obsessed with limiting my posted plays this season to what I perceive as "the right spots", and with USC on deck in Tempe, this might be my first play this year that steps outside that mold. With Sam Keller at the helm, I've expected and seen an ASU team that has had a lot of what prior Dirk Koetter teams lacked (has the Falkner murder contributed to that?), and the conference opener is huge enough to go with this game as an exception to (prove) the rule.

Louisville(-20') over South Florida (1*)
- - The new Beast of the East can lay waste to this team to announce its presence in the new conference.

Notre Dame(-12') over Washington (1*)
- - More pros than cons in this one if HC Weis continues on the track he's displayed to this juncture.

Tennessee(+6'), Boston College(+2') and Oregon(+21) would be my dogs if I really liked any of them as I sit here.
