Well another Wednesday night in the ballpark and interleague play looked so good last night I had to come out with my first ever interleague slam report?scoop style?
GsP posted how well home teams tend to do in interleague play and he was right on the numbers. The home team won 9 out of the 13 games to include getting some nice puppy profit on the reds and the fish. I also looked at some of the great reports written here in the forum (EXTRAPOLATER nice work) matched with some of the guys that I hung with in the spring that are still hitting the books well (CG, TerryRay etc) mixed in with the scoop report and this is what I got?
Double Header: Sox vs Pitt
How can you not get on the ole buc train at home today? You figure they are at least going to split and with the sox playing like crap there is a good chance your in the money at least once if you back the home team. The sox bullpen is going to get some work in game one and they will be useless in game 2 and Lowe has a history of getting beat up in Inter league. Just in case you missed it if you took the sox and the over in the last five games you would be 5-0. Not touching the over without umpire info, but it looks the wind may help out and if you look at some of the BA.?s vs the pitchers tonight and you can make a case for the over.
Pirates +110 in GM 1 & +108 in GM 2
Milwaukee brewers +118
Nope not falling into this one, everyone thinks the mets are playing better after they took the series from the Braves, but not me. The pen is in deep trouble and has been getting bashed every time they get on the field. The bullpen has given up some serious home runs in the last couple of games, if you combine the last three starts of the pen they have given up 8 taters and Trachsel is winless at home this year. Brew crew just got finished taking two out of three from the Dodgers and have the hot sticks to steal one today on the road when the Mets feel the letdown from beating the braves.
More to come
