Rafalca, the Romney's Olympics-bound dressage horse, nets the family a $77,000 tax credit, $2,000 of which, according to Current's calculations, is for what they spent on health care for the horse. The average American family only spends $1,557 a year on health care.

You remember Rafalca, right? Ann Romney's special horse who competes in a strange Olympic sport called dressage

Current made an infrographic breaking down where exactly the $77,000 tax credit the Romneys registered for the horse on their 2010 returns breaks down when put up against the average American family. The tax credit for a child is only $1,000 so Rafalca is already 77 times more valuable than your little preciouses. And yes, the horse has a fantastic health care plan.

Unsurprisingly, Rafalca outpaces the average family in shelter and transportation. A horse that's basically a fashion model with rhythm couldn't live in squalor or travel lightly. Rafalca pays about $2,400 a month for rent, versus the American family's $1,362. Rafalca also spends about ten times as much on clothing in the space of a year than the average family. It's hard out there for a dressage horse.

The only category the American family outspends Rafalca on: food. Does this mean we need to retire the phrase "eat like a horse" and replace it with "eat like a family"?
.................................................................

Got to love this dressage sport of champions.

Ronnie - did u know that during a dressage show there is no talking allowed and is penalized ?

We got a madjack dressage show on now so how about yu shut your pie hole.

Cher has upset Mormons by using a derogatory term in a Twitter attack on presidential hopeful Mitt Romney.

The pop superstar, who is a fervent Democrat, sent out a tweet on Friday, urging President Obama and his aides to get organized or risk losing November's election to Republican Romney, who is a Mormon.

Cher wrote, "I Feel if he (Obama) doesn't get all his DUCKS IN A ROW we'll b forced 2 listen 2Uncaring Richy Rich! The whitest man in MAGIC UNDERWEAR in the WH (White House)."

Her remarks have upset prominent members of the Mormon church, who wear formal garments known as "celestial underwear." The term "magic underwear" is considered offensive
..............................................................

Dont worry Cher the Morman religion is going to be involved in this campaign in a big way.

Willard is some kind of a high priestess in the Morman church.

he has been to the mountain so to speak.

word is that Willard has some pretty weird things that have gone on.

a long timie before the big stuff come out and the shoes are held to the fire for both Willard and Obama.

First thought...Cher is still alive?

Second thought...Mitt's wife bought Rafalca as a therapy horse when she was diagnosed with MS. What a bitch...to spend her own money on something that she thought would make her feel better. Every American doesn't have the opportunity to own a horse so why should she?

I love the post Skul.

Yep. Cher is alive and well.

You're right. Mitt's wife is a bitch, but it has nothing to do with horses or how she spends her money.

She was born naked, penniless and a bitch. Was she your dizygotic twin?

my brother died with MS when he was 42

to say that is therapy is to make all MS patients just look stupid. She is lieing. She has nothing to do with taking care of the horse.

I cant even find that she still rides any horses.

Its the Super Rich trying to buy the white house that gets to me.

Morals and character are not obvious in the Romney household.

This is going to go bad quick .

Willard will be the biggest puppet for the rich and corp that America has ever seen.

sorry about your brother.

wonder if he mentioned something that eased his pain how many people who didn't even know him would call him a liar.

the Romneys have a horse and you don't.

Mitt's wife was born naked just like you Duff...she has a happy life...you don't.

It doesn't really matter what we post in these back and forth diatribes...your satisfaction with you life is evident from your posts...that's why you lose.

Good night and good luck.

Rich like George Soros RICH?

soros-psychonut.jpg

.................................................................

After World War II, Soros fled alone as a poor 17-year-old immigrant to London, where he worked at a variety of small jobs. ?I broke my leg and was taken care of, free of charge, by the National Health Service,? recalled Soros with gratitude. ?I depended on government assistance.? He also, with resentment, remembers from these years how little assistance various Jewish social welfare agencies he approached were willing to give him.

Wow...interesting stories and inspiration from both some democrats and some republicans.

Maybe we should consider that instead of name-calling and the usual drivel.

Voters are being pitted against one another demonizing the other side...who is doing that manipulated and, more importantly, who is being manipulated.

Read some of these posts, look what is happening in Wisconsin and Mississippi and realize that China can call in their debt anytime they want and therein lies the answers.

You think we have amnesia and forgot about Bush. The first time gas went over $2 and then even over $4 a gallon was under Bush. Bush came into office with a budget surplus and left with 10 TRILLION in debt and the Bush Tax Cuts and Medicaid Part D are still adding trillions to the deficit. 83% of the Bush tax cuts went to the upper 2% of taxpayers who are millionnaires and billionnaires. Bush policies increased the gap between the rich and poor. (I could go on and on)

...............................
Obama isn't perfect, but he is doing a lot better job than Bush did. Our economy is improving instead of spiraling out of control. Romney is Bush on sterioid. He wants even more tax cuts for the wealthy and cares less about average working people than about profits as shown by his record at Bain Capital. He will be a disaster for America and the economy.

Republicans blame Obama for the recession, block anything that would help the recession, and then blame Obama when it doesn't get better. They are for something until Obama is and then they are against it. They have actually introduced bills and then later campaigned against their bills and ideas once Obama compromised and added them.

They LOVE that the economy is bad, that is good for their party. They don't care about American's - they only care about getting rid of Obama and getting back in power. Everyone else be damned.

Scott,

Is it just the Repugnicans ?

You know the truth, yet you continue to fire off the attack only at them.

Why not tell and attack the entire system, because it is one party, you know it to be true. It is one party with one goal, going towards that goal with different ideals.

I know you are smarter than that, you have shown it in several other posts.

If you are going to bring High and Tight Heat, bring it to every single turd on the hill !

So with all of that "logic" you are sprewing, does it make sense to continue with more of the same which is a vote for The Obama or Romney?

Long term prediction...we re-elect The Obama and in four years we elect a republican for eight years and then look back on the good old days of 2012.

Stop trying to find someone to blame...what if we all agree The Obama is terrible and Bush was more terrible...feel better about the direction of the country?

You do realize this is how most of us feel, don't you? A lot of us have said Obama sucks, but he's way better than Bush and we get called Democrats. Bush did so much damage, I'm willing to see Obama do nothing (with the Republican filibustering) than take a chance on another super rich Republican looking out for the best interests of the rich.

Who is the PROBLEM? Once again we have someone that doesn't want the TRUTH to come out, just like the Liberal News Media, if Harry Reid were a Republican controlling the Senate, this would be the LEAD STORY every night.

Harry Reid ? The Bill Stops Here
<SMALL>

Harry_Reid-239x300.jpg
A shell game, led by Harry Reid, has been going on for quite some time in the U.S. Senate. The game goes something like this: Overload incoming bills from the house with amendments, and then stop the bill from coming to a vote because of supposed problems with the bill.
The recent jobs bill is a prime example. Republican Senate leader Mitch McConnell asked for unanimous consent to proceed on voting on the bill. Reid, who has struggled to find enough votes for the bill in the Democratic caucus, objected to the motion and killed the opportunity for a vote.
To make matter more interesting, President Obama was in Dallas the same day urging Americans who support the American Jobs Act to demand that Congress pass it already. After that, the Obama campaign sent out an email calling on supporters to push Congress to at least vote on the president?s jobs bill. The following email was sent by Jim Messina, Obama?s 2012 campaign manager was emailed to supporters just minutes after fellow Democrat Reid killed opportunity for the bill to be voted on:
Though it?s been nearly a month since he laid out this plan, House Republicans haven?t acted to pass it. And House Majority Leader Eric Cantor is out there actually bragging that they won?t even put the jobs package up for a vote ? ever.
It?s not clear which part of the bill they now object to: building roads, hiring teachers, getting veterans back to work. They?re willing to block the American Jobs Act ? and they think you won?t do anything about it.
It is doubtful the Obama campaign asked supporters to call out Harry Reid and ?demand? he and Senate Democrats pass the bill. Because the media plays right into their hands, why should they? For Harry Reid and President Obama it?s the best of both worlds. This way they can appear to be champions of the people by appearing to combat the ?do nothing? Republican Congress knowing all the time Reid has no intention of allowing meaningful votes on anything Congress sends his way.
Lest anyone think this is an isolated case of Senator Reid blocking votes coming to the floor in the senate, consider the following list. There are eighteen jobs creation bills passed by the House still sitting on Harry Reid?s desk.

Celente Launches 2nd American Revolution: Puts His Money Where His Heart Is

Trends Journal

KINGSTON, NY, 26 June 2012 ? Gerald Celente?s forecast is clear ? The 2nd American Revolution is on the horizon. And this American Patriot has done more than just sign up to join the fight, he?s established its headquarters.

Inspired by its potent symbolic value, Celente has purchased the 1750s "Franz Roggen House," a stately stone colonial set on the northeast corner of John and Crown Streets, in Kingston?s historic Stockade District. This is the only intersection in the United States that boasts pre-revolutionary stone buildings on all four corners.

"Kingston played a critical role in the 1st American Revolution and was, for a short while, the capitol of New York State," observes Celente. "Here is where I?m taking my stand to start the 2nd American Revolution."

"The 1st American Revolution was fought with armies and bullets," says Celente. "The 2nd American Revolution will not cost lives and limbs; it will be fought with mind and spirit."

Celente is unequivocal: "America?s democratic political system is degenerate, corrupt and ineffective. It cannot be patched up or papered over. Rather, it must be renewed, revived, and reconfigured from the ground up," he says. "The potential for positive and sweeping change is there. It can happen, but it has to be made to happen."

How? First, "We the people" must be made aware of the urgent need for real change. Then "we" must learn to accept and embrace the concept of a full-scale intellectual revolution. "The time is ripe, Americans are ?mad as hell and not going to take it anymore,?" says Celente, who predicts that the November election will be the turning point. "The polls prove it. There is little enthusiasm for either candidate and, once again, Americans will be left with no choice other than the choice of the lesser of two evils.

"Stay Home, Don?t Vote!"

Celente?s Revolutionary call to arms begins with a voter?s strike. "Stay Home, Don?t Vote" is his campaign slogan. "People have been conned into believing that if you don?t vote you?ve lost the right to complain. That?s political baloney," fumes Celente. "The true case is exactly the opposite. This is a two-headed, one party system. Republican or Democrat, considering their track records, it?s clear nothing can be expected from either Presidential candidate other than the perpetuation of the destructive and criminal policies that have brought America to its current state of perpetual crisis and socioeconomic decline. Ditto for Congress."

]"What self-respecting person would cast a vote for a lesser of two evils?" asks Celente. "Not only is it immoral and undignified, it?s destructive. Lesser or greater, evil is evil. By supporting one evil or the other, the voter becomes an accessory to the crime. Only a true intellectual revolution can restore dignity, trust, morality, decency and compassion."
"Anything else is just more of the same.

Stay Home, Don?t Vote!"

As far as Celente is concerned, "We can change course, restore our country and regain our independence. United, the American people have the power to prevail and create a more ?perfect Union.?"
